The service dept. is surly and rude. They quote one price on the phone and then charge you more after they do the work. When you call them on it they blow you off with a so what attitude. Will never use them again!

We just had the worst customer service experience ever.
After 2 techs came over, ordered the wrong parts for our Samsung fridge (we paid for them) and paid for service calls, the fridge was not working.

This was the most unprofessional experience i have ever had. After they didn't come out after 3 weeks now they are of accusing us of not paying. And what a surprise my dishwasher still isn't fixed, but I would rather pay someone else than to ever have to deal with these people again. NO INTEGRITY!!!!! Awful Awful

They have the missing part they took away 3 months ago! The dissapointing fact is that the service technician who originally took it from my house (which I saw him do with my own 2 eyes) denies ever taking it in the first place which is why there has been such a delay. I saddens me that their technician who I let into my home is a liar. I will be making no more Viking purchases from this supplier and I strongly encourages other took look elsewhere unless they enjoy wasting their timewith getting the run around and dishonest service.

I was happy to see a recent Consumer Reports article confirm what I already believed: it is smart to shop good local retailers for appliances rather than go to the "big box" stores. Seattle Home Appliance is why I believe this. Since moving to Bothell, I have bought at least eight different appliances here and had them installed, plus I have had various repair experiences, as well. If I did not feel the prices were fair and the service reliable and well-qualified, I would not keep coming back. They may not always have the rock bottom price, but they take good care of the customer.

In addition to a good showroom and plenty of catalogues from major manufacturers, they are willing to give you that little extra bit of help you like to feel you can expect from a home town store. For example, my built-in microwave/oven combination recently died. I phoned Seattle Home Appliance, and told the salesman my problem. He asked the brand, width and height of my old installation, and asked what color I wanted. In a few minutes, I was able to order a good replacement that fit my needs and my kitchen, without even entering a store.

After the service person finished installing that purchase, he tossed something away under my sink and did a double take. Then he asked if I had had any problems with my dishwasher. Apparently, when I had had my sink plumbing rerouted to bypass a disposal I no longer wanted to use, the plumber had done something strange that could have caused me problems down the line. It was a quick fix, and he did it for me on the spot.

Another thing I like about this outfit is their flexibility in scheduling repairs or installations. When I was still working, I asked them to phone me about a half hour before they would be at my house, so I would not have to leave work and perhaps wait two or three hours for them to arrive. They always did this very cheerfully and reliably.

PROS: Good range of major appliances, expert service and installation
CONS: Small charge for hauling away replaced appliances
