4 Stars: Vintage Tacoma Coffee House (by Janet M.)

I have attended some great networking events there and the coffee is great. The building is true vintage Tacoma, good parking and they have wireless 2!

4 Stars: Good Coffee Great Atmosphere (by Susan S.)

I've spent many days sitting at a Commencement Bay Cafe's table, writing my novel or avoiding it with the free web access. I'd sip great cups of coffee and grab a sandwich when I got hungry. No hassle to leave. All the tables are spaced comfortably, not squeezed together.

There is a special bonus for business in the area. A back room can be used for special meetings.

The cafe is open every weekday, but it closes way too early. By five everything is locked up tight. So make sure you visit during the day.

4 Stars: soup, sandwich and coffee (by Jessica W.)

This is a very casual but interesting place for lunch or just to grap a cup of coffee brewed on site. You can lounge on a couch or sit at a nice window table. Great for business meetings, UW students, friends, or families. Besides lunch and coffee they also sell handmade items, art, and toys. Their sandwiches are fantastic! My favorite is "some like it Hot"... delicious!!!
