I usually have an oil change right before I go on a long road trip, but last month I forgot to schedule with my mechanic, and tried to find a place to go to for an oil change on a Friday. I headed over to Grease Monkey and was very glad I did. Their estimate time was accurate and they did little touch ups that show they're paying attention (floor mats, quick vacuum while oil drains, fluids check), and one thing that I liked was the printed list of recommended maintenance based on mileage/age. Very professional, nice, and upfront with the work and the cost.
My first experience at Grease Monkey was an impressive one. They did a full examination of my vehicle, explained my issues in great detail, so I fully understood what was happening with my car, and they got the job done quick and thorough. My car runs beautifully now. Not to mention, the prices were in my means. That's always a huge plus! You have found a life long customer, as long as I still live in the area! Please don't ever change. I will be back, and also try to refer business your way.
The fellas at Grease Monkey are all so courteous and professional, and not to mention, very thorough and efficient with their work. I will continue to get my car serviced there, because they have proven time and time again that they are very competent at what they do.
I've been dealing with car issues for quite some time now, and I am so glad I finally found an auto shop, that is honest, efficient, and educated. They were straight up with me, saying they couldn't fix the problem, because it was out of their capabilities, so they referred me to an auto shop that could. I appreciate the honesty, and the effort to try. Thank you.
My brother asked me to do him a favor, and bring his car into Grease Monkey, because he had other obligations to take care of, but he really needed his car serviced. I was not in any mood to hang around an auto shop all day, and wait for his car to be finished. By my surprise, the service was quick and efficient, and his car ran so much better than when I first brought it in. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the service, and I will definitely be using them in the future for any car needs I may have.
My parents and I moved around a lot, and I've always heard them complain about the service from auto repair shops. Now that I'm on my own, I feel very lucky to have found a good mechanic, let alone a good auto shop. Everyone there is really kind, and professional. Very honest and upfront. The work performed is thorough and efficient. Thank you guys for being so wonderful, I wish my parents would have had the pleasure of dealing with you guys.
These guys don't even do brakes, so quit exaggerating and tell us the facts !Frustrating when you people who neglect your cars go anywhere and they tell you your piece of junk is falling apart around you, but that's their job.Grease Monkey only quotes out of my Owners Manual compared to my mileage for any services they recommend to me, and my family, and friends who have been going there for 6+ years.Get your facts right before you slander a good company !
My experience at Grease Monkey was uniformly positive. They were efficient, thorough, and very courteous. The basic oil change included some nice perks like refilling the fluids, vacuuming the interior, filling tires to proper pressure, etc. They replaced the bolt on my oil pan (which was stripped by the last guys) for no extra charge. And they also did a basic check on the engine. They identified some problems, but I thought their recommendations were reasonable, and there was NO pressure to fix the problems there. I don't even think they do that kind of service there. Overall, I had a very good experience at Grease Monkey and saw other customers come and go that also seemed satisfied. The mint on the dashboard tasted all the better after getting so well-serviced :)
Talk about a high pressure sales situation... I know what it means to "upsell" the customer, but to go from a simple oil change to recommending that I flush my tranny, get new brakes, change out my belts and on and on and on...
all i want is my oil changed.... "what about this? what about that?"
go to jiffy lube or do it yourself.
This guy with the rag issue is smoking something.
I've been a customer there for over 10 years and bring my 3 family cars there as well.
I have never had a bad experience there - it has always been highly professional, fast, and accurate enviroment.
For the price - they cant be beat !
Pros: Fast, and friendly, with high quality service
Cons: need to be open later - past 6pm
BEWARE OF BALLARD GREASE MONKEY!!!!!!!
Went in for an oil change and came out with my car making a scary noise. Turned out that one of the technicians had failed to replace my air intake cover AND left a rag in my engine compartment!....the rag had been sucked onto my air filter!
Went back to tell the manager what had happened, and he offered no apologies and failed to take any responsibility for the negligent actions of his employees.
EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS!!!! If you value your car and good customer service, STAY AWAY from Ballard Grease Monkey! Tell your friends!
