Great Place!!  5 Star Rating - World class

I don't do it at home because it kills my back and is a huge mess.
I doubt I will ever bend over the bath tub and struggle with my dog ever again, this place just makes it so much easier, and they do nail trims for 5 bucks, can't beat that! The owner is also very nice!

Good, but does it compare to home?  4 Star Rating - Very good

Though this business might sound dumb, I can see its uses. It does provide everything you need for cleaning your canine companion, but if you are a serious dog owner, you should already have these things at your own home. This is a good place to hang out with other animal lovers, and their animals, so that face alone lets me give this place a higher rating. The trip for me is too far to make this worthwhile.

PROS: Easy to use, supplies are centralized, friendly atmosphere
CONS: Why not save the trip and do this at your home in the bathtub instead?

clean your filthy dog!  5 Star Rating - World class

this is the best place in town to wash your dog! They provide the tubs and the soap and conditioner (and lots of doggie treats) you wash your own dog! it is really fun. and for only five dollars more they will clip your dogs toenails!!! (which can be a real hassle trying to do it yourself.)

Don't wash your dog anywhere else! 5 Star Rating - World class

This dog wash, Greenwood's semi-best-kept secret, has been our choice for years. No more struggling with big dogs in small bathtubs, keeping the curtain pulled back away from snapping teeth, and washing gobs of fur down the drain. Carrie and co. at Rub A Dub Dog provide everything we need for an easy, fast wash and dry--even when the dogs are less than enthusiastic!

Pros: location, staff, service
Cons: none that I can think of!

The Best Dog Washing Station in Seattle- 5 Star Rating - World class

Washing the dog probably isn't high on the list of many, but it's really rather fun and Rub-A-Dub. The staff are routinely helpful and attentive. The tubs and drying stands are easy to use and ramps lead to both, eliminating the wrestling match of getting Fido into position. One of the things I like a lot about this place, and I've been to a number of do-it-yourself dog washes in north Seattle, is that there is an abundance of grooming tools and supplies available: cotton and forceps (for the ears) a variety of different nail clippers, ear washes, ointments, salves and lotions, deodorants. You name it. It's all there, just help yourself. The staff are friendly, and the general feeling of the place is fun. (If you're new there, they'll take a picture of you and your friend and post it on the wall. ) There is a basket of dog toys available if your pooch needs to occupy itself (you did neuter your dog, right?) while waiting for an open tub, and staff there will cut Bowser's nails for only $5.00. Such a deal!

Pros: Easy, fun and everything you need to spruce up your dog. These folks care.
Cons: You might have to wait. It's a popular place.
