.

I love coming to the Salvation Army Thrift Store. You would be surprised who you might see shopping in there. A lot of people shop there but would never admit it. Oh get over yourselves people...lol....it is a great place to spend a minute looking for a bargain. I go mostly to try and find canning jars and books.
They now have 3 stories of stuff. Furniture and related is on the top floor. Misc housewares and books on 2nd and clothing on ground floor. They let people use the elevator which is nice for those with a buggy full of stuff.
Every other Thursday is 50% off day and Saturdays are 50% off clothing so the place is extremely busy those times. For some reason I have yet to know the answer to, they have gotten in a ton of stuff. Pretty good quality items and have rearranged the place. Staff is constantly changing. Lately the gals working are quite chatty and shout across the store gossip to each other. Drives me nuts.
I went yesterday 11/17/05 and there was a camera crew filming there. I thought it must be for a Salvation Army commercial but I guess it was for yet another documentary on Kurt Cobain. I guess he shopped there too. That was kind of neat.

PROS: 50% off days. Getting in more things than use to.
CONS:
