I can't speak for their academics or their experience with children but as far as the business end goes they could use a few customer service lessons. I read some of their reviews on another site while I've been checking out preschools for my almost 3 year old. Other reviews mentioned their rudeness and I must say I agree.
When I walked in the blonde at the front wasn't very welcoming, especially for it being a daycare/preschool. I told her we were interested in some information on the preschool and she says well we're full but I you can be put on a waiting list but it's long. I just responded with "oh, okay" and she said "let me see if there's someone that can give you a tour", she went into the next room (that has windows to where I'm at and I can see) walks back and says why don't you go sit. So I did and I sat there for 10 mins and watched the 4 women just talk in the room. Finally a woman came from the back, she looked at me and says "so your looking for a tour? Maybe you can come back when we have some time for that"....uh wow! So I said well I don't necessarily need a tour I was just hoping for some information on your preschool. She (miss Linda) was very un-informative and unhelpful. She did give me a sheet to take and it had the least amount of information possible, just the prices and times. Nothing explaining their academics or how they run their facility. I did ask of they do a snack time and she looked at me like it was the dumbest question ever and says uh no I mean it's just half day.
I have no intentions of taking my daughter there and would not recommend them to anyone.
Basically I felt like I just inconvenienced and bothered them.

My son loves school! Yes, it's a little more expensive than other programs however what Nancy's offers was beyond what any other program I had looked at!
The staff is very friendly and always greets my son by name when he walks into the building. They are professional and have always answered my questions in a timely manner.
The teachers are young however they have had educational classes (per what Nancy told me) and I feel my son's teacher is very competent. I have and will continue to refer families to the school.
The building is new, clean, and very child friendly. The outside play areas are great!
I do wish that they went beyond kindergarten. I think they have an excellent program!

I have read some of these posts and I completly disagree! My daughter has been going there since last year and will again next year. They take amazing care of her and she loves the school. When she is asked what she did all day she says "play". Of course I am paying lots of money to "play" but then she will start to write her name (at 3) or try to talk to me in spanish or sign lanauage. I can tell she is learning a lot with out even knowing it. They are amazing there and always friendly. I am looking forward to sending my second daughter there next year as well. This is an amazing place!

Our daughter attended Nancy's for Preschool only. Her teacher was very nice, but very inexperienced and often lacked support and direction from the school.

The staff members in the office area were disorganized and often curt. Among other errors, we received the wrong information in the mail at the end of summer with regard to which teacher our daughter would be with. Like other first-time school parents, we were very excited for the moment to meet the teacher, tour the school with our daughter and see her meet her classmates for the first time. Our name was not on the teacher's list at the beginning of the group meeting, but she said not to worry, that it was probably just a typo and to remain with her. So after participating in the entire tour with her, we asked at the front desk and found out that she did indeed have a different teacher and that we missed our opportunity as that meeting was earlier in the day. It was a huge letdown. While I understand that errors occur, it was the way they handled it that was their biggest mistake. They suggested that I had read the card in the mail wrong and that I should be more careful. She quickly turned to talk to another staff member and dismissed me. Unfortunately, despite my desire to not hold a grudge, I found that more often than not, this was how business was handled behind the counter.

I wanted to enjoy our experience more than we did. Our daughter's experience seemed fine, as she doesn't deal with the parental elements of school, but it wasn't anything outstanding. Our teacher lacked support, newsletters were uninformative (and riddled with spelling errors), office staff was less than helpful, and there was a lack of desire from the school for parent participation. This school is significantly more money than those that surround it, and it fails to deliver anything special. There is a mixed review of parents we've talked to out continuing for Pre-K. Given the experience we've had throughout the year, we will not be retuning, and would not recommend this school to our friends and neighbors.

Nancy's Noah's Ark is an amazing daycare. The building is beautiful, so is the outdoor area. They are so kind, considerate, and loving with your children it is unbelievable. My youngest daughter had a horrible time in her first daycare experience, months of crying. The very first day at Nancy's she was beaming from ear to ear. Never once has she cried there. She absolutely loves going everyday. Her teacher is a doll and is so creative, and fun. My son loves the media room with computers, and video games. All in all the teachers, and the wonderful ladies at the front desk, make this daycare outstanding!

My children have been going to Nancy's for some time now and for what we pay, the staff needs a few lessons in racial/religious acceptance and professionalism.

The facility is great. Large with all the latest learning tools and a staff that is well trained except for "Mrs Vicky, Mrs. Nancy (Owner) and Mrs Nancy's Daughter.

Most daycare centers have younger staff and you would think they would be the ones that needed training in maturity and professionalism. Not at Nancy's. The younger staff is very good and attentive to both parent and child needs.

The legacy staff that consists of Mrs Nancy (who is the owner) and her "Rude" Daughter and Mrs Vicki, need serious training on overall attitude and professionalism.

With Hanukkah coming up I stated "Happy Early Hanukkah" when I entered the facility and Mrs Nancys Rude Daughter shouted " Merry Christmas" I said "Its to early for Christmas, Its Hanukkah now" She immediately jumped down my throat and said well we are a Christian Facility here. I jumped back and said if you Christian you should be recognizing and respecting all people beliefs.
She immediately turned away red in the face.

Then there is Mrs Vicki. She has a cold and abrasive sense of humor and is never aware of her surroundings. I come into pick up my kids and she is to be working the front desk. Have the time she is taking personal calls or talking to another employee while ignoring you. Then of course she has no clue where my children are and usually directs me to the incorrect class room for pick-up.

As for Mrs. Nancy, she just needs to wake up. She has been in the Mill Creek area for 25 years and frankly she is taking her business for granted and it is starting to slide. In the spring I will be placing my kids in another facility until Nancy's gets back on track.

I have tried providing feedback to Nancy and her team but my concerns go on deaf ears.

My husband and I have 3 daughters, 2 previously attended Nancy's and the other is currently enrolled. We did not consider sending any of our daughters to another preschool. Our girls have all loved the staff at Nancy's, their teachers, their classmates, and Nancy. Our first grader gives her preschool teacher hugs every time she helps drop off her younger sister with Daddy. The new location has a race track in the outside play area that the kids can run on or ride pedal cars. They have several programs throughout the year and focus on Christian holidays. It's refreshing that they celebrate holidays like Christmas, known as Jesus' Birthday at Nancy's and Easter. It is a bit expensive, but it's worth every penny! I recommend Nancy's Noah's Ark to anyone/everyone looking for an incredible preschool experience for their young ones.

We had signed our daughter up in February for the following fall. We toured the facility and showed up an Open House. During this time we filled out an application and placed a deposit.

However a few months later our circumstances changed and we needed to change our plans for our daughter. So we contacted Nancy's, in early June, telling them our situation and asked for all or part of our deposit back. The office told us to write a letter explaining our circumstances. A letter was written and sent to them. Two months later we still had not heard anything from them.

We feel that they were given plenty of notice and should have enough time to fill our spot.

We have never had a company be so inflexible with their policies.

For my son's last year of pre-school, her went to Nancy's Noah's ark. This is a privately owned pre-school that has wonderful teachers, but a rather small "campus". Nancy is a real person and is there every day. They have a great drop-off service where the teachers get the kids out of the cars to keep traffic moving. There were several open houses so we knew exactly what the currciulum was and the facilities. We were impressed wit the teachers, though they seemed a little young. The only problem is that it is very expensive, roughly $350 per month for only 3 days a week. Despite that, the school was very good.

PROS: Good school, good teachers
CONS: Tiny campus, expensive
