Reviews for Shane's Foot Comfort Center

Ratings_icons Shane's Foot Comfort Center is simply superior.

Frank M.

I walked in to check it out and was delighted by the friendly staff; Jennifer greeted me and showed me some options for a new pair of athletic shoes. She measured my feet with the device and after seeing my gait, suggested several different shoes that would best accommodate my feet - both in size, shape and support.

I like the layout of the store; it's offers many options, both casual, dressy and professional.

My wife came in with me the last time and asked that we note that she loves the fact that they make a conscious effort to offer women's shoes that keep up with fashion trends while maintaining a strict level of comfort and stability.

I referred a friend of mine from the office and he needed orthotics to fit his dress shoes and some for his golf shoes, they took care of him as well and he said he'll be back as well.

Ratings_icons Shane's Foot Comfort Center is Fantastic!

I LOVE SHANES AND THEIR STAFF AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY AS A CLAM!

Shane is a great guy and has taken care of my family for many years including my parents when they were alive. They have a nice variety of footwear for all of us, the staff is friendly, the store has a homey feel and you really get quite a bit of personal attention. They actually care, which is more than I can say for any other shoe store I have ever been into. I did not know what a Pedorthist was when I went in the first time, but now I know it's worth sitting down and giving them a thumbs up for all the excellent service they have given me.

Thank you Shane!

Ratings_icons Granny's back on Greenlake in her new kicks!

GrannyEmails

When I went in I told them if they screwed me over I'd hit em so hard theyd whizz like a nail! They tee heed over that one and we got down to business. These kids are sweet and took good care of granny. I am back walking around the lake everyday now but since its getting colder Ill have to head back inside the mall to get my walking done. Shane is a nice young man and did do right by me. I even left my pocketbook behind and they found it and saved it for me till I could drive back over. Not sposed to be driving without my pocketbook but whats a granny to do when she forgets things. Thanks for a good pair of shoes and a nice afternoon.

Ratings_icons Synical runners get happy feet

JacknJill

Thank you to Shane and the crew for fixing our feet!

We're both runners and have had many problems in our running careers that our doctors could not solve and I have gone through multiple pair of orthotic devices and running shoes.

Typically, we complain alot so for me to sit down here and give kudos is a big deal. I never do it. Skeptically, I made an appointment with Shane and I was suspect because the appointment was free. Shane assessed my complaints and told me what he could do for me and I did not believe him but at that point I would have done anything. He made my orthotics in an hour or so and while he was making them one of the gals fit me in some Brooks running shoes, which I had tried before but wasn't happy about. Apparently, when you get the correct size and the correct shoe for your foot it makes all the difference in the world.

Following my sudden advanced experience with Shane's I dragged my wife in kicking and screaming and I am pleased to report that she is quiet and content, finally. Shane fixed her up as well and now we are both back on the road, pounding pavement and feeling great.

So, I say again, thank you for fixing our feet and our outlook on life.

Pros: Custom Orthotics by free appointment

Cons: The other shoe stores that claim to know what Shanes does.

Ratings_icons Buyer beware

Took my elderly dad to this shop for wide shoes. I (with similarly wide feet) had had reasonable luck at Shane's and was anxious to get him a pair of new shoes. They recognized his old brand immediately and were able to provide a number of potential candidates for comfort. We narrowed the choices down and left with what we thought would be a good replacement pair.
Once the shoes were in regular service however, we realized that they were not as wide as his previous style. They were a constant source of discomfort and were regularly being removed in favor of the old shoes.
I went out of my way on more than one occasion to see about remediation for the width at the store. They took the shoes to the back room each time to do a '20 minute stretching' that would make everything better...I was told that the compression stockings my dad was prescribed were the source of the problem and any number of other blah, blah, blah things that did nothing to make the shoes fit better. Three trips did not come to any remediation of the expensive ill-fitting shoes. I've made my last trip to Shane's Foot Comfort Center.
I recommend Shoes N Feet in Fremont. They go the extra mile with the fitting. The only reason I had to go back was to get a second pair of new shoes for my dad. And socks too.

Pros: Lots of great shoes

Cons: If they don't fit, they don't fit. Period.
