Lago Azul Mexican Restaurant

We have eaten here on several occasions and the food has always been the best. It is a nice bigger place so that our whole family can go together ans we don't feel crowded. The new owners are great and we knew them from their place in Renton Highlands so it was like seeing old friends again.

I have eaten at Lago Azul since they first opened. I have gotten to know the wait staff personally so I'm sorry they have changed hands. However, the food has always been good and the service extremely good. To mean sizes are good sized and more than enough to fill you up. I would recommend this restaurant.

I ate a Lago Azul a few weeks ago. The owners have changed, but the service and food are as good as ever. Lago Azul offers authentic Mexican cuisine and also a few American favorites. The atmosphere is cheerful, if a little worn. Food portions are large and reasonably priced. Good seafood! Watch out for the chips and salsathey're so good youll be full before the meal arrives!

We enjoyed the food at Lago Azul, and the service was excellent. When we had a minor problem with a dirty glass, the waitstaff were extremely apologetic and gracious and brought a new drink immediately. The food was very good, and the prices were not bad. If you're in the mood for good Mexican food, I would definitely recommend Lago Azul.

This is the best Mexican restaurant ever! All of the people that work there are so nice and the food is excellent. They have a really good diversity of foods including all of your favorite Mexican meals. The margaritas come in small, which is not so small and large, which is so large you are intoxicated by the second sip! I will go here long after I leave Des Moines.

They have the best mexican food around. It is almost always really fast. The nachos and enchalladas are excellent. The service is fast and the people are really nice and friendly. The place is clean and really nice. The parking is a little interesting but it is worth it.
