Draft Pic's Sports Bar & Grill

Probably the best bar in Skagit County. Big screens, great food that is very reasonably priced, nice crowd, 4 pool tables, foos ball, darts, dozens of pulltab games and just a super spot for spending time for lunch or a cocktail after work. The bartenders and waitstaff are very friendly and the service is good. I love the place!

My wife and I were visiting the Skagit Valley Tulip festival in April, 2007. We happened to stop for lunch in Mount Vernon at Draft Pics Sports Bar and Grille. I was astonished to find such a clean, friendly and interesting place. I wish it were closer to us as we are from Everett. The food was terrific and lots of it too! I had a grinder and Jan had a taco salad. We are going to make Draft Pics a stop whenever we head north on I-5. Not only was the food wonderful but the sports coverage reminded me of a sports book in Las Vegas. Big screens everywhere. This is a totally classic bar and grille. We will be back! P.S. Amy they don't charge extra for fries any more.

Draft Pics is your standard sports bar: pool, darts, sports memorabilia and a whole lot of TVs tuned to various sports news and events. What's different about Draft Pics is that it is almost two different places--they have two distinct spaces separated by the bar. One of the spaces is almost always more raucous than the other, allowing you to choose the atmosphere that you prefer.

Draft Pics has friendly, attentive service and a good selection of beer on tap. The food is good, although oddly enough they charge extra for their fries, which are the crinkly baked kind you'll remember from your school's hot lunches. Try the chicken nachos, they're the best thing on the menu.
