Chantanee Family Thai Rstrnt

I have always had a great meal here. I am working my way through their menu and try something different each time. I brought some neighbors with us last time and they were raving about how great it was. Fast service, cold beer, and an excellent meal every time. The only downside I can think of is that it is a bit loud, but that will not stop me from going!

I've had Thai food in a lot of places--all over the Seattle area, in San Diego, even in Tokyo--and Chantanee Thai food is simply the best. They make the best dishes, they serve the best mango with sticky rice dessert, and their Thai iced tea is the best.

I don't know what their magic trick is (maybe it's the cute female waitresses!), but it's always good at Chantanee. So good, that I took to ordering take-out at the same time I ordered meals to eat at the restaurant, so I could have lots of extra for the next few days.

The only downside to Chantanee is that it can get extremely noisy there. It's hard to talk much at times because of all the chatter from customers.

But there's no doubt--Chantanee is simply the best.

Fantastic food!! The portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable. I go there as often as I can! It can be a bit busy and hard to get into but it's absolutely worth the wait! You can also get meals to go. 3 stars really is pretty spicy there sometimes so you might want to go a little bit easy. My favorite is the 'swimming rama' - white meat chicken in spicy peanut sauce over fresh baby spinach.

PROS: Incredible food
CONS: There can be a wait to get a table.

I LOVE Thai food and love trying new Thai restaurants. Although I'd heard good things about Chantanee, I wasn't all that excited as its been around a while. Not very good logic!

I had a noodle dish that normally I wouldn't have tried (friend recommended) and it was delicious! I was so pleased. I have often found many Thai places to be too bland but this was just bursting with flavors. The portions were very good as well.

The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was prompt.

Chantanee has the absolute best Thai in the area. While we mainly ordered take-out from here, we did dine-in a few times and were always pleased with the service we received. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was a wide variety (and many vegetarian options).

We love coming to eat at Chantanee. They have excellent service and wonderful food. The dishes are always piping hot and fresh. I don't know what spices they use but their food is flavorful and never a disappointment.

We've done their take out which is only a 15 minute wait and we've dined in as well. Their prices are reasonable and their dishes are filling enough to take home for leftovers. AND they taste good the second day!

Friends of ours drive from all over to eat here so be prepared if you come right at lunch or dinner time cause it can get busy. During the weekdays they have all the business crowd dining for lunch and at dinner it's family time. When you walk in you will notice that they've been awarded the best Thai food nearly every year!

Truly authentic Thai food! Chantanee wins the Eastside's Best Restaurant award almost yearly. Their sauces are so flavorful and full of spices. You're never afraid to try something different because it's all so good. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is prompt. You can call ahead and order take out and it will surely be ready in 15 minutes. They also include rice at no extra cost with all entres. I always have leftovers because they give you such a large serving. I'll drive from almost anywhere to eat at Chantanee!
