I have been a patient of several of the practitioners of Seattle
Advanced Body Work Associates over the past ten years. I find the
atmosphere warm, relaxing, and very homey. Ted Johnson is great at
deep tissue massage. Darryl Martin is wonderful at finding out just
where it hurts and then working out the kinks, Nate Starling does
great chair massage and Jean Clough has intuitive and magical hands.
Jeans room is my personal favorite, with beautiful art on the wall and
a lovely stained glass mirror in the window. The clinic has a nice
vibe and the practitioners seem to really enjoy working together. I
would highly recommend anyone of these great practitioners!
Pros: Excellent therapists to chose from
Cons: None really

Jean Clough, owner of SABA, has been my favorite massage therapist for many years. She is professional, experienced, really understands what's going in the human body and how to ease up tension, and shows a perfect mix of technical skill and intuition. She continually takes trainings to advance her skills and broaden the types of treatments she offers. (She also gave me great pre-natal massages when I was pregnant with my daughter eight years ago.)
I've also gotten good massages from Cynthia Callison and Petra Hines at SABA when Jean wasn't available, and was very happy with their treatments as well.
The best thing is that SABA works with a lot of insurance carriers including mine :-)
Pros: Experienced and intuitive practioners
Cons: None really, except that Jean is often booked up
