On April 9 my family went to Strickers Caf for lunch. I can only drink decaffeinated coffee. After ordering the decaf the pot was almost empty. Instead of making another pot my wife and I saw the waitress pour about twenty five

If you are a bacon lover, like I am, this place is for you. I ordered their ultimate omelet for breakfast with a side of bacon and could not eat it all. The bacon, I did not leave that behind you can know that. Stricker's serves old style bacon that is thick and meaty. Yes I said meaty. Hard to believe I know. I travel around the country a lot and I have no problem saying their bacon is the best. Their portions are large and the prices were a pleasant surprise. The staff is very friendly and hustling to serve everyone. Coffee comes around every few minutes. I don't think I ever saw the bottom of my cup. The owner, Sarah, is on sight and on the floor to great every customer. You will be hard pressed to find a Mom and Pop cafe with a better breakfast. I will be a regular when I am back in town.

You want breakfast? You want Strickers. Funky hours mean that you need to time your visit right but there's almost never a wait to get in. The food is delicious, the prices are right, and the portions are filling. Plus they have everything from Pancakes, to Corn Beef Hash, and even the elusive Eggs Benedict. Yum!

Last week we were told about this restaurant by some friends of ouors who go there on a regular basis. We were looking for a weekend breakfast place close to ouor home so we decided to give it a try. We all met in the parking lot around 9 AM on a Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least. When we entered we were greeted by the owner Sarah. She has the most lovely smile. She quickly set up a big table to accommendate us all (10). After briefly looking at the menu we all noticed how reasonably priced every thing seemed was. The cooking area is open to the view of their guests. You get an opportunity to see the cooks perform. Glancing around the dinning room we were pleasantly surprised see the more than generous portions as well that were served. We ordered and when our food arrived it was hot and the presentation was wonderful. We were not able to eat it all and were offered a take out box for the rest. Forget Denny's or I-Hop this place has them beat hands down. In our opinion Stricker's Cafe is one of the best breakfast and lunch restaurants in the Puget Sound area.

Stopped by early in the morning, didn't want to do the worn-out Denny's thing, then I found Stricker's, a nice cozy place in a strip plaza with a great home-town feel. Good selection of breakfast and lunch items, it's good to see a place open early with homemade food--i had the pancake combo with some of the best bacon i've ever had--huge freakin' pancakes, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Great service, too, didn't have to wait at all--there's a chef guy in the open kitchen and my food was ready in minutes. Wow! Thought places like this had fallen by the wayside, I'll be back on the next leg of my road trip.

Pros: Awesome food, quick service, very affordable, ample parking.

Cons: Not a thing.

Went last week with less than an hour to eat. Walk in and found an open table just after the lunch rush. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and the wife ordered soup and sandwich combo. Both the service and food quality was outstanding for the price, plus we were out in less than an hour. The atmosphere is simple with a focus on quality food and service. Have eaten there twice since at different times and days with absolutely no disappointments.
