I could sit in here all day and try the different beers. Did not have a bad one! I think I recall eating as well, but am not going to swear to that one, I believe it was pretty good! I will be going back on our next visit.

This is known as probably the best brewery in Seattle, and it is definitely my favorite, aong with the Pyramid. Since it is located in Pike Place Market, you can take visitors here really easily. Amazingly it is not over-filled with tourists like Cheesecake Factory always is downtown. I guess a lot of non-locals just don't go to that part of the market. it has some tourists but locals also go here, so it is a noce mix. It is never over crowded. I like their pale ales and their food is good.

The Pike Pub is a great stop on those Saturdays you go down to the market place. It's like sight seeing as there are so many tourist and shoppers that drop in. Fun place.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a must-visit for any beer-lovers (or even -likers). All the beers Pike brews are excellent, especially the Kilt Lifter and any variation of their Pale Ale (you'll find bottled versions in many upscale grocery stores in the Pacific Northwest but it's much better on tap, of course). This is a great place to take friends and family visiting Seattle after a busy day at Pike Place. The food is good--nothing surprising, it is a pub--and there's souvenier merchandise for sale. It's usually busy but seldom packed and it's really laidback.
