Good Coffee

by Anli J. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,244

Solstice has great tasting coffee, and is a good alternative to Starbucks if you are looking to get an americano or a drip coffee. Their baked goods are lacking in taste, however... so just go for the coffee.

Cafe Solstice

This hip cafe has a variety of seating options, my favorite (on a dry day) is their heated patio in the back.

It can get a little loud if you're trying to study but is a great place if you want to meet people for coffee, wine (yes, wine), or some of their yummy food items (like homemade mac and cheese).

Their coffee is actually not that great, but their excellent ambience and a variety of other beverage options make up for it.

they have live music sometimes, but there isn't really a menu, so hopefully you won't look like an idiot. Good place to study. Also nice latte art. music is kinda loud.

Cafe

A loud and fun place to spend an hour or afternoon, Solstice is the hip hangout on the Ave. Serving great coffee and food, Solstice offers a funky atmosphere to patronsthe music playing is never anything youd hear on the radio, but rather eclectic world music mixes; the people tend towards poetry and existentialism; the place is just plain fun. Its worth a visit, no matter what youre in to.
