Absolutely the worst place to spend your money. This place has the worst management to be known. They hire people at a pay and once you accept the job they let you know they will be paying you less then they said. This is a scam of a company. Do not spend your money here. No one would like this to happen to them or any family member. Beware do not go to this dealership

I was driving home last Friday night when I heard a terrible grinding noise from under my Jetta. I called Pignataro and they told me I could bring it in right away and they would have someone take a look at it. By the time I got there it was after their closing time but, they were waiting for me anyway. The service rep took my car in the shop immediately. It turn out that a rock had somehow lodge in my front brake. They told me that they removed it, checked for damage and that everything was O.K. When I asked for the bill they told me "no charge, have a nice weekend!". I couldn't have been happier, they stayed late to help me, fixed my car at no charge and also did a free car wash. Incredible service, I won't ever shop for a car anywhere else!

Our family has purchased three VW's from Pignataro. Both the sales and service departments have always been honest, helpful and friendly. Any time we walk in the dealership the employees go out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. The service guys are friendly and efficient, the prices are competitive and the work is always top notch. Thanks guys, you're the best!

My engine warning in my Passat came on while I was on my way to work. I called Pignataro and Justin in the service department told me to bring it right in and they would work me into their schedule. When I arrived Justin told me if I could wait for a few minutes they would have the shop foreman take a look at it to see if it was something simple. The foreman came out and plugged a computer into my car then he walked around and checked my gas cap. Turned out I had failed to tighten it when I bought gas the night before. Needless to say I was totally embarrased. They told me not to worry about it, didn't charge me anything for checking it AND even offered to wash my car for me. These guys are the best!

I purchased a new Vw Jetta in June. The sales experience was fantastic, great information,no pressure, helped me find just the right car for me. About a week after buying the car I noticed a small scratch on the fender. I don't think it was there when I took delivery but, I took it in to see what it would take to fix it. My salesperson immediately took the car to their detail department. After about 15 minutes they brought my car back with the scratch removed and....they wahed and vaccumed it too!!!! Best of all they didn't charge me anything! I have recommended Pignataro to all of my friends and family. I have never been treated better and will probably never buy a car anywhere else.

i leased my jetta from pignataro 2 yrs ago. i explained that i am on a VERY tight budget and needed a reliable vehicle that required little maintenance. i was ensured that the jetta was the car for me.
now 2 short years later and 5 months before my lease is up- i need new rear brakes. les schwab told me that one of my calipers was sticking- causing the brake pad to wear down more than normal. this should be covered under my warranty. they recommended i have it checked out by volkswagen.
i called pignataro. i was told it would be a charge of $100 to diagnosis the problem. (uh- les schwab just did that for free.) it was worth it if my brake repair was covered under the warranty. of course- pignataro determined it wasn??t the calipar sticking. $380 for new rear brakes. on top of that they determined that my front tire tread was unsafe and that my tires needed to be rotated asap. ($25. something else les schwab does for free.) i also need a front end alignment. wow.

so- 2 years into my lease, with 5 months to go-- i replaced the rear brakes (no way to prove it was the caliper- had to take their word...) and am driving on un-rotated and unsafe tires because although pignataro already had 2 of my tires off and it would have only taken 15 minutes of their time-- they wouldn??t throw it into the $380 i was already paying.
thank you for the fantastic service- and caring for my safety and well being pignataro. (sarcasm)
you will NOT have my business in the future. only 5 months to go.

Cons: cost. employees donβ??t care about customer cost and safety.

I have owned 2 VAG vehicles and the service on both cars was great. Though I'm not always in and out on the same day, a loaner or rental car is arranged for me. I trust this dealership is honest and will take care of my cars. I wouldn't go to any other dealership. Service staff is always friendly and fun.

I had my 2000 Golf towed to to Pignataro VW after it died on I-5. I talked with the service department stating that the CEL was flashing then the car died and that i thought the catalytic converter had gone out. They told me they would take a look at it and let me know. After having to call them back to find out what was wrong i was told that one of the spark plugs had broken and a piece fell into the engine, but it cause no damage and that this was the cause for my car not running NOT my catalytic converter. I then asked them to replace my spark plugs so i could take drive the car to my normal VW service center. I was again reassured that my car would work fine after having the spark plugs replace. After they finished replacing my spark plugs i pick up my car and drove not even 1/4 mile off the lot and it died in the middle of HWY-99. I call back to ask for help and was basically told "We fixed your car you drove it off the lot" but if i wanted to pay to have it towed the 1/4 mile i drove it back to the dealership they would take a look at it.

Driving home on a Thursday evening, the engine light on my wife's Passat went on (second time in the 1 1/2 years we've owned it). The first time we encountered this problem, it was towed to Campbell-Nelson and they had it diagnosed and fixed and ready to drive home, all in the same day. So this time, I called VW Roadside Assistance to come get it and they told us they'd take it to the nearest dealership to be looked at which happened to be Pignataro.

Our car was towed early Friday morning and we called ahead to let them know it was coming. I was told that they'd take a look at it, and at the very least, call us and let us know what the problem was. Toward the end of the day I still hadn't heard from them so gave them a call. They acted like it was no big deal that they hadn't looked at it yet. I was polite and asked them again, "When will you be looking at it?" They replied that they were closed on Sunday but had a skeleton crew working Saturday and that even though it wasn't normally done, he'd go ahead and have someone look at it for us on Saturday - like he was doing us a favor.

So Saturday morning my wife called them just to make sure they were true to their word since they lied to us on Friday. She received the same response - they would look at it today (Saturday) and call us and let us know what is wrong. We are normally a two car family and can manage with only one - but my wife is 8 months pregnant and with all the DR appointments and everything, a second car really helps us out.

It is now Monday morning and I am curious to see what the Pignataro service crew has up their sleeves today....

Pros: They don't return phone calls which ultimately saves resources

Cons: Slow Service Department / Poor Communication

daughter and son-in-law just traded in for a new jetta. that old saying "white man speaks with forked tongue" definitely applies to this dealership. please make note that pignataro starts with the 3 letters...pig-and we all know that pigs have a reputation for gluttony.
would have been more straight up in the sales manager would have worn a mask-then there is now question you are being robbed!
avoid this dealership like the plague!!!

Service was good on Erik's part, but short of that it was terrible the wheel of my new car almost fell off, not to mention the warranty work that they sent to have done was not....and no one checked when it came back, so I was out for a week getting the stuff fixed that should have been done, oh yea the loner they gave me got broken into and I had to pay $250 to fix it. Never will I set foot in that place let alone send someone there....Run....Fast....seriously.

Dishonest, say anything to make a sale, still using old sales tactics to force you to buy, sleazy, slick, over bearing sales staff!

Putting $2000 above sticker as NW Adjustment - this is just a way to get more money out of you.

Just go to Carter VW they told me without even asking they make $1300 at the sticker price which I respected the honesty - that amount is fair given the overhead and the man's commission. No Haggle - No hasstle!

I bought a used VW Jetta. Definitely your typical car salespeople -- high pressure, willing to say anything to sell you a car. At one point, the salesman said that they wouldn't sell me an extended warranty, but if the car had any problems in the next week or two I could just bring it in. The car had two problems within a week. The first was a small bulb that they gave me a huge hassle about, but finally fixed. The second was a larger problem. At this point, the salespeople wouldn't even talk to me. I had to go through their service dept. Was quoted $175 and the price magically increased to $225 because of "gaskets." NEVER AGAIN!

PROS: nice looking cars
CONS: Dishonest sales people, service more $$ than quoted

From September 2003 through December 2003, I had the worst experience with the service department at Pignataro Volkswagen. I took my car there on 2 separate occasions, once for an oil change and once for a heated seat that was staying on even though the car was turned off and the button was not selected to have the seat on. After receiving the oil change, I had to bring my car back as the next day, the check engine light was coming on even though the car ran fine prior to this visit. Then the service department gave me the run around regarding the seat in the car if it was covered under the extended warranty or not. Upon discovering that it was, they were unable to find my extended warranty in the system and would not call the warranty holder on my behalf to find out any information. I did provide the extended warranty information as the repair was ocvered under the conditions of the warranty. There were additional trips to this dealership for routine maintenance and each time I left, something else would be wrong with my car. I do not recommend this place.

Intenet team is inexperienced, slow to respond, and lack customer service skills; when visiting dealership, expect to be treated poorly. I was working with internet sales manager who assured me via phone that she could meet my expectations in terms of price and vehicle, who insisted I come in at scheduled time, and who, when I arrived, was eating lunch, had no paperwork ready, and flat out refused to work towards the payment amount she assured me she could reach when talking to me over the phone. Additionally, retail price of car presented to me before payment options, was significantly higher than msrp on VW's website, and the average selling price for this area from car sites. Very unsatisfactory experience, which could have been avoided by good salesperson.

you enjoy condscending and arrogant sales people. We attempted to trade in our Golf for a Tourag recently and were treated so shabbily by the sales manager of Pignataro we left almost immediately. After a staff member quoted us one price, he virtually doubled the price and then proceeded to criticize the staff member's stupidity in front of other co-workers. The whole experience was extremely distasteful and I will never purchase a vehicle from Pignataro again.
