Discovery Nursing & Rehab

I wouldnt recomend this nursing home to anyone. I have been in the building many times. The staff that work in this building are unprofesional and very rude. I have overheard many of them complaining and whining about residents they dont like taking of. The halls have a horrible odor and the public restrooms are always dirty. The food is also very bad and the residents are not given a choice of what they want and many residents are served the wrong diets or textures. I have seen this with my own eyes. If your looking for a good home for your loved ones PLEASE keep looking.

Albeit this is an old building, it is clean, and I have never noticed any odors in it. The rooms are small on one hall, but where my aunt was in the rehab unit, they are okay. It is homey in the entrance, but the colors of the rooms are kind of dull. The staff is always nice, someone always asks if I need help when I come to visit, and they seem to really know my aunts needs. She is not the easiest person to take care of either, and is fussy, and they are always nice to her. The food is varying, but okay my aunt says. They had lights up for Christmas and it was homey. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've visited this facility many times and wouldn't want to have one of my family members have to stay here. Besides being an older facility, I've noticed an odor inside. I was visiting during dinner once and saw a dried out, cardboardy looking piece of pizza, and a small bit of lettuce smothered with dressing as my friend's dinner. She's complained about the staff and the lack courtesy some staff member show. The rooms are small and lack personal touches and privacy.
