A well-kept secret with a wealth of knowledge! They have helped my deal with my dog's food allergies with natural dog foods. What a great little place to go when you want the best! Best customer service in the area!
5Thrifty Feed is a great locally owned store. It is nice to find stuff I need at a store like this rather than going to a chain store. The staff if friendly and you can find what you need for your animals and yard. We have even purchased vaccines for our dog here, on the suggestion of our dog breeder. I have stopped in to shop for gift items as well.

This is a cute little neighborhood feed store that sells all sorts of stuff. They have a large supply of windchimes - I always like to browse through and usually buy one or two. I also buy "straw" to line the dog house and the dogs beds on the porch in the winter. I can buy a bag of it rather than a big bale, which is more than I can use. I also buy sprays for my apple trees in the late winter/early spring. They have all sorts of bird food and other animal products as well as garden products. In the spring they usually have tomato plants and other assorted herbs and vegetable plants - not a huge selection, but a few things. It's a nice store - not to big, not to small and is very convenient if they have what you are looking for.

Thrifty Feed and Garden is located right off St John's and doesn't have much parking. When I went inside I was immediately asked if I needed help and then was left alone to look around. They had some nice stuff there but they don't really seem like a feed store and they don't seem like a pet store.
