Thanks to the last review; I've been to Gwendolyn and have to say it's the best haircut since moving to the Eastside. I've been to all the other recommended places. Like the person mentioned in the last review; she is very good with creating a style for your face shape and the grow out is great so far. My daughter, mother and co-worker have also been in and they love her. She is very popular though and I had to wait a couple of weeks but it was worth it. The online appointment booking is very cool. By Anonymous I have been to Gwen three times to get my hair cut. She is the best ever...I am not kidding! She knows what hairstyle looks good on each person and she cuts your hair in a way that it can be manageable for months. it even grows out well. Besides being extremely talented she also goes out of her way for her clients. I missed my appointment and had to reschedule but since I had a reunion to go to she stayed late to cut my hair...Now I would say THAT is service! She was recommended to me by my mother who was sent there by a friend...needless to say she is a popular woman! Go see Gwen you will be glad that you did. I went in a couple weeks ago and had my color and cut done with Stephen---he is AMAZING! I get so many compliments on my hair....The color he does on my hair are beautiful dimensions of Red, Copper, and Burgandy and it always looks so good! He is highly trained by Vidal Sasson and teaches color for a line out of Italy called Alfa Parf. So, I promise you, you are in GREAT hands! I have super sensitive skin and very low pain tolerance but she does the waxing so fast and in such delicate manner that I dont even feel the pain .... its over before I know it. I recommend Maryam to all my friends and coworkers and they have all been telling me how wonderful she is. If you are ever considering a bikini - or any wax - Maryam is the best to go to. I had read the city search posts about Maryum and was expecting the best. Luckily thats what I got. Maryum was professional, attentive and I have gotten numerous compliments on the shape of my eye brows since seeing her. I will definitely be going back!!
