My husband and I (fiance at the time) went to EE Robbins to find a wedding band to go with my engagement ring. The staff makes you feel welcome right when you walk in the door. They had a great selection of rings with unique designs but everything was priced above what we wanted to spend.
This is a gorgeous store that specializes in engagement and wedding rings. All of the rings are truly unique, though typically the price reflects their style. The moment you walk in this store you are greeted by a friendly sales person who offers you a drink (water, espresso, champagne) and asks if you need help. No high pressure, I cant tell you how many times I have just browsed in this store. The sales associates were more than happy to let me wander. The only downside is parking. There is a lot across the street but other than that parking can be difficult.
My then-girlfriend and I went to EE Robbins to look at engagement rings. We had to wait a little while for an associate, but once we got one, we were treated like royalty. The associate explained all of the details, prices, and payment plans to us. I thought that their stones were a little expensive, but they were very nice. Great service!
PROS: nice products, great service
I got my engagement ring in the Tacoma store but we recently moved closer to Seattle so this is the store we visit now for check ups and cleanings. Everyone here is as nice as they are in Tacoma. I just love coming in and getting greeted like an old friend. They also have necklaces and earrings now, or maybe they did before too and I was just too focused on rings to notice! Everything is beautiful. Continue with the good work EE, you have a customer for life!
Felt very pressured. Thought I'd give it a second chance by visitng the Bellevue store.
Bellevue was amazing
Maybe just the difference between Tacoma and Bellevue.
Cons: Manager, Staff
Girls, and guys, shopping for a ring is hard...really hard. I was not looking forward to it. G and I headed out to shop one Saturday and we went to EE Robbins first. Let's talk about the store first...it is really pretty and not stuffy and fancy. Next, the service...they are really nice people, not phony and high pressure. Last, the selection...there are SO many rings and SO many diamonds. It is like heaven for a girl who needs a ring. We did our due diligence there and then went to a few other stores to compare. Well, NO COMPARISON!!!!!!!!!! EE Robbins had the best engagement rigns and the best prices. Yes I said prices! We had thought they were pricey but NO, NO, NO. Anyone who has heard that they are expensive, listen to me they are NOT. We went back and ordered my ring and picked out the very best diamond a girl could have and they set it into a basic little ring so I can wear it while I wait for my real ring to get made. WHoo hooooo! We even went home and did some online comparing and we could not find a better deal. Now it off to find a location and flowers and a dress and a DJ and a.................
Pros: Rings, rings rings galore
We were wowed the minute we went in. The store is new and very pretty and the staff is welcoming and thoughtful. I thought the whole process would be like buying a car but it was not. They kept it romantic and fun and not that expensive. They have more engagement rings than mall stores and way nicer. We noticed that they have tons of men's rings too -- he is next! Thank you so much EE Robbins for making us happier.
Pros: The best selection of engagement & wedding bands
My now husband and I, walked in to EE Robbins in search of my engagement ring. My husband was in quite the crabby mood, assuming that the sales reps were going to be more like car salesmen and try to talk us into something we could not afford. Kara was the first one to greet us, asked if we wanted any water, wine or coffee and left us to look around on our own time. I called her over when I was ready to look at something and it just got better from there. Kara was incredibly informative and patient and funny and just an awesome person and great at what she does. It didn't take long for my husband to calm down and realize that Kara was here to help us with an important decision and make this an enjoyable experiance for the both of us. We looked at a lot of different sets and tried on everything possible before narrowing it down to two. Then once Kara told us that we needed to sit and pick out the diamond, my husband almost had a heart attack when he realized the price didn't include the diamond! LOL He's cheap! Kara only picked out diamonds that kept us in the price limit that we set for ourselves. Different sizes and clarity, she explained the difference between all of them and we could clearly see what makes diamonds so different. At any other store, you would have gotten what was in the glass case and never have known the difference from one diamond to another. I'm a true girl and did not want a ring that 50 other chicks had already tried on, I needed it to be special, and thats what it was at EE Robbins. I finally made a decision on a diamond and let me tell you, til this day I still get compliments on how sparkly and beautiful my ring is. I would definitely recommend to any and all women to go with there Elite diamonds. You won't ever regret it, it is truly beautiful. My husband and I sat and had wine while they cleaned and set the diamond in my ring. We chatted with staff and took our time. It was great! Then they brought out my ring and handed it to my husband. I had never been so giddy in my entire life. My husband took my hand and led me towards the back of the store where they had a little sitting area and a beautiful fish tank by the way. He sat me down as he got down on one knee. My heart was pounding! He took out the ring and proceeded to officially ask for my hand in marriage and this time he had the bling to bank it up. At that time the manager grabbed a polaroid camera and took a picture of my husband kneeling and me almost in tears. Staff congratulated us and from then we proceeded to wrap things up. We were sent home with a bottle of wine, all the specifications on my rings, a record to keep track of when I get my ring checked and cleaned, a gift certificate for my husbands bands and the picture of us to remember that day! I could go on and on about how wonderful everyone was and how special they made that day for us. Kara was fabulous and i will always recommend EE Robbins for anyone that is in search for the best experience and the best quality engagement rings anywhere.
Pros: Best customer service in town!
Cons: None, they were fabulous!
EE Robins was wonderful! My husband and I got our rings there and had a perfect experience! Chelsea and John were so great! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get engaged! They also had wonderful references for wedding vendors. If you are looking at rings; go and have a glass of wine (or water) and check out there amazing selection!
Pros: Great people and beautiful rings!!!
Cons: No Drawbacks!
Dreading the task of finding the perfect ring/diamond, I took the advice of a friend and went into the EE Robbins in Belltown. Let's face it, I knew nothing about jewelry. From the moment I steppied in the front door, Kim offered me a Mocha Frap and made me feel as if this was 'the place'. She had the time, and a techno presentation on a computer, to bring me up to speed to be able to make an informed decision. She also helped in choosing the style which helped a ton. They went over the top when they placed the ring in the now famous blue box and wrapped it ...and then gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. I recommend this store highly.
Pros: I've rarely felt this comfortable
Cons: Off the beaten path
I first walked into EE Robbins in January 2002 and met Pam Ness. Like most guys shopping for an engagement ring, I was nervous about getting the right stone and setting. Pam made the whole process easy. My future wife worked just up the hill at Restaurant Zoe, so I arranged to have friends pick up the ring to maintain secrecy. Pam accomodated every request and the engagement proposition happened exactly how I hoped it would.
Most reviews of EE Robbins have similar stories about exceptional service that includes genuine concern from the EE Robbins staff for individual circumstances. In my mind, customers should expect that everywhere they go. Here is what makes EE Robbins truly special. Fast forward 6 years and thousands of miles.
Approaching our 5-year anniversary and now living in Washington, DC, I wanted to buy my wife an aniversary band. Friends recommended some local shops but I found myself in the familiar position of being nervous about the purchase. Remembering the experience I had with EE Robbins, I picked up the phone and called Pam in Seattle. It was the best decision I could have made. Pam remembered me right away and it was easy from that point forward. The short story is another successful presentation of affection to my beautiful wife. The ring was stunning, exactly what I wanted, and the correct size. All this from 3,000 miles away!
I could have gone anywhere to shop for an anniversary band. It certainly would have been more convenient to find and use a store closer to home. EE Robbins will stay with you for a lifetime no matter where you are in the world. How many other stores will do that? How many other stores would you trust to do that? The choice is simple when it comes to buying an engagement ring or other fine diamond jewelry - go to EE Robbins. You will find yourself among friends.
Pros: Exceptional products, courteous staff
My fiancee, son, & I drove down from Oak Harbor because we had heard about their ability to customize rings. John met us and discussed the possibilities of making a reality what we had sketched for my ring. While we were considering this option Chelsea helped my fiancee look for a ring he liked.
The entire experience was far better than we could have ever imagined it would be. We'd been to a couple retail chain stores prior to going to EE. Every other store was pushy, trying to get the "big" sale, put off that my son was with us, and very impersonable.
Chelsea & John made us feel welcome, took their time with us. It was so touching how they never once rolled thier eyes or were irritated by my 5 year old son who was there and asking questions. They sat down with us as we asked questions about designers, diamonds, styles, and stones for the rings we looked at.
Not only did we find the rings that we loved, but my son became fascinated with P-diddy the puffer fish, and we have found a store that we will return to. We will never consider any other store for our jewelry desires...and my son...he cant wait to go see P-diddy again. This is our "IT" store!!!
Pros: Warm caring staff, extensive selection, personable
Cons: We havent found any
Today I have been married for 10 years. This month we upgraded our diamond to "a real show stopper!" We love it. We went to EE Robbins because of the customer service and knowldege base. My husband really likes quality in diamonds, the whole clarity, cut, etc., etc. We deal with Mark who has educated us for the last 11 years concerning stones. When we walked in EE Robbins, there was a comfort level. Non-showy yet classy, clean, up-scale store that had refreshments and a very comfortable setting for a very important purchase. I trust what the sales team said, they are educated in the gem world. I am just as giddy about this day as I was my wedding day 10 years ago. I think EE Robbins was too! They were able to supply many choices and once the choice was made, my ring was made within the hour...so sooo beautiful. Thank you Mark and your entire staff for such a memorable experience. MFS
Pros: choices, budget help, dream-factor, relaxation
I was already very excited to go pick out my engagement ring with my fiance' , but it was better than expected. He had told me he had a great experience and that they encouraged him to get me a solitaire and have us both come into pick something out. What a great suggestion. He was supposedly very nervous about picking the wrong thing. They had so many great styles. We went in and were so pampered and encouraged to relax and have fun with the whole process. He had already done the hard part. Not only did they help us find something I loved in our budget, but they offered us drinks and a snacks. The staff was really attentive. So many people have complimented me on my ring and they always mention how much it sparkles. Which makes my fiance' very happy. But I'm really the one couldn't be happier. We will also be going back to get his ring soon.
Pros: service, selection, sparkle
First let me start by saying I am a shopper, so looking for an engagement ring was going to take time and I was going to leave no stone unturned. I went to the malls, thought I would see how good my "friend" in the diamond business was (wasn't) and even looked online- no, I'm not stupid and would never spend thousand on something I can't see, touch and compare-but I had to look. When everything was said and done I left one and only one store amazed-E.E. Robbins in Tukwila. I received honest answers to my questions, a diamond education second to none, a huge selection of quality designer rings (they carry alot of platinum which I didnt find anywhere else) and the most impressive part was the customer service. Mark was the most imformative, educated and honest person I encountered in weeks of shopping. He spent A LOT of time making sure I had every question answered and found exactly what I was looking for ( novel, a sales person who listens) and stayed exactly at the price I had given him. Mark didnt say a word about it in the couple hours he spent with me, he was just fantastic, but when he gave me his card I find out he is V.P. of Operations. When I apolagised for taking so much of his time time he responded that there was nothing more important he could be doing than taking care of me. Look no further, you have found your jeweler.
Pros: Outstanding service, platinum selection and competetive price
Cons: not a single thing
After finding the perfect girl I needed to find the perfect diamond ring. I didn't know where to start, but Chelsea at E.E. Robbins made it easy.
On my first visit to the store, Chelsea spent well over an hour teaching me about diamonds, how they are graded and what those differences really look by showing me various diamonds. At no point was there any pressure to buy. Armed with this new found knowledge I checked out some other jewelers, but ended up back at E.E Robbins. Others may have had similar selection or prices, but none compared to E.E. Robbins in customer service.
Chelsea even helped out when it came time to pop the question. I was looking for a heart shaped box for the proposal, but I hadn't found one yet. When I went to pick up the ring, Chelsea offered to make me a box herself. Not being the artistic type myself, I took her up on the offer. It turned out perfect!
In the end I had only one small complaint. The original ring was not perfectly round in shape. It took a couple of trips to the store before they figured out that this was the reason the ring didn't fit quite right. The ring had to be sent back to the manufacturer for a replacement. In the meantime, E.E. Robbins mounted my fiancees diamond in a temporary setting so she could still wear it. The replacement ring ended up fitting correctly, so all was well in the end.
Pros: Customer serivce, low pressure
I wasn't really looking forward to the whole "ring process" and was actually a little nervous to go into E.E.Robbins in Belltown. I shouldn't have been. The staff treated me like a friend walking into their living room and I ended up having a really fun experience. I'm very analytical and ask alot of questions, but they were patient and answered everything very intelligently without ever putting any pressure on me to buy. Even though I shop online for almost everything, I didn't want to buy a ring that we will have for the rest of our lives without touching it and picking out the diamond for it. My fiance loves the ring and they sized it for her in an afternoon so she didn't have to go without it for a night. I am so glad that I found a place that is a local business that employs caring knowledgable people, has a great selection and gave me an awesome value on my ring. I will send all of my friends there.
What a great experience. Chelsea was my sales associate and is the best!! She puts no pressure on you to buy even after I made her pull out it seems every ring in the case. I would highly reccomend E.E. Robbins for your engagement ring purchase.
I went to EE Robins, not knowing anything about engagement rings or diamonds. EE Robins taught me to look at quality. I became dangerous with knowledge. It is not about the price of the diamond that makes the sale, it is the connection to the ring and diamond that sells. That is how one should by a ring. You must feel and know the ring is right. The sales team are above any sales person I ever encountered before. The owner ( Emerson ) taught the staff to help the customers find the right ring, regardless of price. I have gone to other places and the high price was first pushed then the quality was never that good, so other engagement stores would show me expensive rings of lower quality and push on the sale to the point you had to leave. At EE Robbins, they sat with you; got to know you; then helped you find that perfect ring. I wanted to suprise my wife with the ring, and again did not know anything and the sales people at EE Robbins were very patient with me as I had something to drink ( wine or soda) as they listened carefully to what I had to say and want. The ethics of this company is the basics... The ring sells itself and the connection sales team is only there to educate you. I feel that everyone will get the best quality at EE Robbins. After I proposed to my wife Rebekah, the owner of EE Robbins wanted us to do a commercial for them, as I rented out the Pacific Science Center's Planetarium to propose to her. They even wrote a book on different ways people proposed and we were on there as well. I would never go anywhere else to buy a ring or upgrade on diamonds for my wife as I have truly found the best place in the world.. Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved.
George and Rebekah Villega
Pros: Great Service, Friendly Staff, No pushing items, They listen and care to your needs and the most important thing is to educate you to get the best item for your beloved.
What a great experience I had in purchasing my engagement ring from EE Robbins in Seattle! There is enough trepidation involved in trying to plan the perfect engagement without the additional stress and worry of picking out the ring. Thanks to Pam and Jon, the entire process of choosing my ring was stress-free and actually a bit fun. For those people who don't know the first thing about diamonds (me), they take the time to essentially give you a DIAMONDS 101 class on all of the details so you can become an informed buyer. My price range and comfort level was established during my initial visit and I NEVER felt any additional pressure to purchase a diamond out of that range. In fact, I got the sense that they were sincerely interested in helping me choose the perfect diamond moreso than the most expensive one. Aside from the professionalism, customer service, and knowledge of the sales staff the overall "feel" of the store was great. From the moment I walked in I was offered water, soda, a snack, or even a glass of wine to enjoy while I looked. Of course, I chose the wine which made things that much more relaxed.
Simply not enough good things to say. I highly recommend EE Robbins in Seattle to anyone interested in purchasing an engagement ring!
Pros: Customer service, knowledge, selection
i have dealt with them in the past and it was not a great experience...
They seem like used car salesmen, trying to get you to buy the most expensive ring possible. Obviously, they need to charge a very high markup in order to pay for their ubiquitous radio advertisements. Don't believe their marketing hype, do your own research, and find a different store that will treat you better.
i first of all went in for a tacori ring and the salesman spoke me out of and into a coast ring big mistake ...i had the ring less than 3 months and a diamond fell out they repaired it a month later the same stone fell out ...they repaired it 2 months later the center stone prong ( i think that is what they call it)had a defect in it i took it back and had them remove my stone and put a fake stone in and i sold the setting on craigslist...there customer service was awful blaming me for being tough on the ring....i will never return to the store ...i finally got my tacori from lt denny she is alittle shop near all the stadums downtown...she was great to deal with and the tacori ring was as advertised
hope this helps and it was not posted to late
Cons: You're paying for them to run their annoying radio ads every 15 minutes.
I've lived in Belltown for years and as a single person would wander in occasionally and look around. I was always treated great - just as if I was really shopping for a ring, although I made it clear I was not. When I really WAS shopping for a ring it was the first place I went. Although I didn't wind up buying there (I went for an antique setting) Pam and John were excellent. John even offered to pick up my parking ticket when I got one outside the store, not realizing there is a lot next to the store. That's great customer service!!
Pros: Great, Personable
Cons: None come to mind
This store is an exceptional place with amazing customer service. Nice people, free beverages, and low pressure. You will not feel hurried, nor will you end up buying anything other than something you are completely happy with.
Pros: Great Service, Low Pressure, Good Selection
This shop was amazing. Not only was the experience as high-end as any, as elegant as tiffany's in its own, seattle way, but the service was unbelievable. I didn't consider myself knowledgable about diamonds and yet was completely comfortable knowing i was getting the very best diamond in the exact design i was looking for. And she loved it.
What a great experience all the way around! When I first went there I looked kinda gross from a bike ride but they still gave me royal service. They answered all my questions no matter how silly. They where absolutely NO HARD SELL at all. The couple of salespeople I worked with just wanted me to find the diamond (later the ring) that spoke to me within my budget. I ended up with a FABULOUS ring! I have been back since to purchase diamonds for earrings as well.
Pros: Service, Knowledge, Relaxed Atmosphere
WOW!!! The entire experience at E.E. Robbins was delightful. The customer service is top notch, best I have ever gotten. From the begining "window shopping" to the day of purchase I felt completely comfortable and at ease. All my questions, even the dumb ones, were answered in detail in a way that was easy to understand, some places are so technical that it can be scary! I highly recomend that everyone give E.E. Robbins a try, but try someone else first, then you will truely understand what I am talking about.
Pros: Friendly, Soft chairs, Ample room
Some places you need to return to and a few you want to return to. I am an artist in the Seattle area and knew exactly what I wanted to get for my fiancée. I checked with several local marquee jewelry stores, but nothing compared to the full experience I received from E.E. Robbins. From the moment I entered the store I was treated with a profound respect not often afforded to a guy wearing shorts and an old shirt (artist attire). The staff was undaunted and carefully listened to my requests and gracefully accommodated even the smallest detail. The experience of buying a ring can so easily be tarnished and every employee of the store, even the owner, was diligent, forthright and made extraordinary efforts to see that the romance and excitement of buying a ring was not lost and in many ways made even better than I expected.
Pros: Great Environment, Honest Staff
EE Robbins exceeded my expectations. My husband bought my ring several sizes too big. So when I rushed down to EE Robbins on Sunday, they couldnt re-mount the ring in the fabulous setting I picked out until Tuesday. I had a social engagement to go to later that day and didnt want to leave my sparkly new ring. So the manager attached a clip on the back or my ring so I wouldnt loose it, and told me to bring it back on Tuesday and he would have it set by that evening so I wouldnt have to be with out it long. I was thrilled. We were so happy with our entire experience we didnt look any place else when purchasing my husbands band. They also had so many styles for him it was easy to be loyal. Thanks to all the people who helped us at EE Robbins!
Pros: customer service, selection, cool rings and store
Cons: absolutely none
