City of Clarkston Animal Shelter Dept

This is truly the old archaic 'dog pound'. This city does not care about the animals they impound. The little old guy who cares for the place is so nice and tries so hard but what can one man do by himself 4 hours a day 5 days a week. Nothing gets health care, nothing gets vaccinated, nothing gets altered. These dogs sit in cramped oooold rusty kennels until they are either adopted or go crazy. It's like stepping back 100 years in time. The city gov doesn't care and I guess the residents don't either. I'm glad I don't live there. I'd be ashamed.
