Soeren, You forgot the details. ( National RV, 38?? Class A Coach, probably a Cummins Diesel 250/350 HP ) According to our security system engine start was 7:19am. Our first phone call complaining about excessive noise was 7:23am, at which time I put on a shirt, pants, socks and shoes and headed for the door, only to be met by an irate gentleman who wanted to know what was going on with that id--t in Site 3. Replay shows engine start was a cold start at 1400/1700 RPM and held in a ??no load?? range of 1400/1600 RPM until I told you to shut it down. You backed off the throttle at 7:31am. You said you HAD to start the engine that way. Yes, I did reply ??that was B==L S==T?. I suggest you review your Cummins Operating Manual and especially the Cummins bulletins regarding engine operation with Low Sulfur fuels. If you ??HAVE?? to start the engine at 1400/1700 RPM, you should visit your Cummins Diesel Engine specialist and find out why. Your engine will thank you and your neighbors will be most grateful. To start a cold engine at 1400/1700 RPM and hold a no load idle speed at 1400/1600 RPM is totally unacceptable, unnecessary and with total disregard for your engine and for those around you, regardless of the time of day. We have over 1200 coaches, 36ft. to 45ft. visit us every year and no one, repeat, no one, has ever abused an engine or rousted their neighbors as you did. Yes, you were told to ??shut it down?. and leave?. You were, however, the subject of conversation around the coffee pot for the rest of the morning. Oh!..and a nice touch of class, as you sounded your air horn when you left at 7:53am.

Well "Jay" is at again. If any person needs to attend anger management classes he is a perfect candidate.

We been visiting this RV Park without problems for the last two years, but as we were leaving this morning at 7:40 am, "Jay" struck again.

The great view and ample fishing access is not worth the public humiliation received, when the manager "Jay" runs up to your RV and curses you and your wife out for starting the RV.

It is a mystery to how he gets away with this type of customer service without suffering some form of physically damaging response from a customer with less patience toward this kind of profane behavior.

We will not be back

We certainly noticed that rules and security are taken seriously and they are equal opportunity, applying to each guest. If guests are in compliance with the rules of this private park, they will enjoy a clean and tidy property with fantastic views of ships on the river, open grassy area and benches to watch the sunset. Manager ''Shirley'' went out of her way to find us a site at the last minute for Labor Day Weekend and contacted us by phone with her availability. Another manager cautioned us as dog owners to be aware of possible salmon poisoning along the river and handed us literature while walking the dogs. The park has a convenient store for soda and snacks at reasonable prices, cold 12 oz soda or hot coffee for $1. We had guests come out to visit for the day, met them at the office where they signed in and we paid $5 for their use of the park. We enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back!

Response from the owner
One of the first things you see upon entering the property is a large STOP sign with the wording underneath it ?? ??ALL VISITORS MUST CHECK IN WITH THE OFFICE, NO EXCEPTIONS?. Vehicles that enter the property without checking in with the office are stopped and asked to return to the office and sign in. After dark we are particularly vigilant for unknown intruders. Why? Because we are private property and there are security, liability and privacy issues. Unknown persons touring the premises are not welcome. Just as you cannot wander through a Hotel or Motel to see what's offered without checking with Registration first. Our Guests deserve the same security and privacy as offered to anyone else within the Lodging Industry. Ignoring the STOP sign, bypassing the office and roaming the premises is not acceptable.

So I arrived at this great RV park where my friends and family are staying, I arrived 5 minutes early and to my surprise here comes this old fart named Jay!!! He immediately screamed at me and said I was trespassing on property and was subject to arrest! I informed him I was an invited guest and Jay continued to interrogate me like I was a
criminal, I was unaware of a lot number so I was just sitting in my vehicle waiting for my friends. He jumped out of his golf cart shining a flashlight in my face then telling me my friends were not registered at the park! I assured Jay I was at the right place and he said I would have to leave until my friends arrived if I was really telling the truth. This old turd sits in his rv and watches guests with surveillance cameras capable of zooming in on guests? I warn all potential guests to beware of old man Jay!!!!! I was embarrassed beyond belief by his actions and will never refer this park to anyone! I do believe in security but jumping in another persons face making accusations is no way to run a business. Once my friends arrived and verified my invite, not only did I not get an apology from Jay, he then yelled at the other guests about parking??? Unbelievable, I am appalled!! Warning watch out for the flashlight yielding geriatric!!!!!
