Salon Dewi

I was looking forward to nice pampering at Salon Dewi. They charge $30 for a normal manicure and an extra $10 for french polish. Everything about the manicure was horible. The girl didn't even really do the cuticles at all and she started painting french on and i had to stop her because it was looking so bad. The polish looks really old and crusty and started chipping just a day after. I'll never get a manicure here again.

I had a wonderful experience. David gave me a very relaxing hot stone massage. The atmosphere in the salon is very soothing and enjoyable. I would recommend that anyone in the need of a pick me up or a relaxing time go there. I wish I had time to try some of their other treatments but I didn't have time. Next time I am in town I will schedule myself a full day of services.

I had a facial with Eri and it was so relaxing! Eri explained to me what she was doing and gave me suggestions on what I could do at home to improve my skin. She was not pushy, she just educated me on what I could do. I also had my first Brazilian was with Amy. I was a little nervous. She walked me thorough the process and took my mind off the pain. She was very good at creating a conversation that kept us both involved. She directed me so that the pain would be minimal and so that I would not bruise. I have to say that the experience was not as bad as I had expected it to be. Actually the results are worth it!. I am so glad that I found Salon DEWI.

Have been going to Travis for years and he is not a gossip. He has the best waxing and lash tint technique I hav ever experienced. The salon is beautiful and very relaxing. Travis ROCKS!!!!

Salon Dewi has been my regular waxing and relaxation palace since I followed Travis from his previous Salon five years ago and I would never go anywhere else! The setting and the staff are warm and inviting and every therapist has made me feel totally relaxed and comfortable no matter what service I'm having. Travis is absolutely hilarious and loves to show off the hilarious 'FUNderwear' he sells and give you a mini-makeover before you go back to work or out to play. I don't know about this gossiping business- I've known Travis for years and he has a wonderful reputation in town- not only as a business owner but also as a great friend It's Travis and his staff that make Dewi feel like a home away from home!

Tried this place after a different place, needed it in a pinch since I couldn't get in to see my regular waxer. Was an okay service, but Travis was a talker, and not in a positive way. Negative comments and gossip galore. Some may like this but it made me wonder what he said about me after I left. Will not be returning. Customer service is not about trying to be funny at another's expense. It's individual attention.

Can I just say I was deathly afraid of getting a bikini waxed due to the previous company I went through. I was recommended Salon Dewi through a friend. I came in a bit nervous but my aesthetician Eri made me feel so relaxed. She is super cute, and incredibly personable. She answered every question I had and was happy to do so! Eri did an excellent job on my extended bikini wax! She was quick; yet meticulous. I could tell she was highly trained and I will never go to anyone else again. The customer service is fabulous, and the ambiance is clean w/an Asian Fusion theme. Salon Dewi is my new waxing place!

Travis is the best at Brazilian waxes! He's quick and thorough... and funny! I love coming here and it shows, just ask Travis and the rest. I first visited in March 2006 and have been in just about every 4 weeks for my "usual" facial and brazilian! Twice I've brought my coworkers for a Girls' Night Out for an afterwork pampering... We had so much fun with Travis, Kathleen, Eri, Katie... :) Our boss even noticed the "afterglow" we exuded for days after! (We get to do this quarterly now! Yay!) I have been to Salon Dewi numerous times and have never been let down. Additionally, I have brought many girlfriends and family members here, and they have been equally pleased. I have had the Brazilian done around town (which now that I type and re-read that, I feel like I should erase..), and there is NOBODY that compares to Travis. Not only is he hilarious and fun, but I feel as though my wax goes by very quickly, so it is not uncomfortable nor painful. At other salons, I have had to suffer the wrath of inexperienced waxers, or those who choose to apply and re-apply wax on newly waxed patches of skin. This is something that has never happened at Salon Dewi. I am forever raving about how much better they compare to other salons, when talking with friends. They are kind and considerate, with excellent customer service skills. I have never had a problem booking an appointment, and even when I've left messages on the vmail, I have promptly received calls back. I was considering having a lemon drop pedicure, so now that I've read all of the reviews on those, I think I am going to call and book my appointment accordingly!

If you are looking for a pedicure that will relax you like no other, then go to Kathleen at Salon Dewi and get the Lemon-Drop pedicure. It was my first time ever having a pedicure and I am HOOKED. Kathleen is the best!, funny,entle, and knows her stuff. The brown sugar lemon scrub is the best. In my 46 years on this planet, my feet have never looked or felt so good. Thanks Kathleen!!!!

I went to Salon Dewi to get a pedicure. I had been to a lot of different places, but there was nothing like the lemon drop pedicure that I received from Kathleen! She was VERY gentle with my cuticles, and gave me quite the foot massage. The lemon drops were awesome! I don't know what her recipe is, but I would sure like to have it! She helped me choose the best polish for my skin tone and then used a wonderful Brown Sugar & Lemon scrub on my feet. It felt great, but the best part about it was how wonderful my skin feet afterwards! They make that scrub right there in the spa and I wanted that recipe too! I decided to schedule a Lemon Drop Party Pedicure. I'm bringing in 3 of the girls, and the 4 of us will have Kathleen do our pedicures while we have lemon drops and party it up...just before heading to Chapel! I highly recommend Kathleen!

Salon Dewi is a purely wonderful place. I have been in twice having parts of my body waxed. The entire experience is wonderful from the moment you walk in the door. It is clean, it smells good, it is beautiful, it is serene. The services I have had from Travis Powell have been amazing. Besides being THE professional Waxing Diva, he is kind, witty, and thoughtful. To be honest...I never expected to be a customer in a body waxing salon...but now I am hooked. Salon Dewi is a real Seattle pleasure palace.

Since I visited Salon Dewi only twice. Anyway to my ultimate experiences! I entered to Salon Dewi as first I came in, I smell sweet incense and I met friendiness person named Travis, he offered me tea to sit and relax and waiting for Massage Therapist, his name is Nadov Nahari, LMP. He is the best massage that I ever had since I regularly seeing him every week since 2005 at his other office. My tension has melted away from his strokes. He is wonderful, friendly and professional man. He respects my resistance during massage and eventually does a great strokes and allowing my body to accept him. I am highly recommend to anyone to visit Nadov Nahari, LMP. He would melt your body into relaxation like a cloud. He makes you sleep! I actually hooked into massage from him. I cannot compare to any LMP who are better than him NEVER better than him.. He is the best!

This place is great! Travis is fantastic if you're going in for waxing, but I used to see other folks and they were always very good too. The massages are excellent, although a bit pricey compared to other locations -- but the UV light box is a nice touch. Plus, where else can you get such loving care? If you need a spa for all of your pampering and regular care -- this is it!

Wow! Walk in and feel the warmth! This place is so inviting and relaxing. AND I got the BEST waxing ever. My brows looked like movie star brows once Travis was finished with them. The best Brazilian in town (and, yes, it hurts just a little, but it's worth it). I also got an amazing facial. My skin still feels soft. I can't say enough good stuff about SalonDEWI. I love the atmosphere and the great results.

Travis and his staff are great! When you go for a facial you experience a mini vacation. He is always willing to work with what YOU need and want and you will not hear "We don't do that here."

The waxing is quick and clean. The pricing is very fair and quaranteed. I highly recommend Salon Dewi for facials, massages and waxing.

I took my first trip to see Travis last month, and I loved it! I was having a very stressful day, and by the time I got to Salon Dewi, I was frazzled beyond belief - but I was instantly relaxed the minute I laid down in the chair. Travis is funny, attentive, and best of all, a true waxing diva - he's amazing, with unparalleled skills. I've never been more comfortable, or felt so relaxed, while enduring the (reasonable) pain of a Brazilian. Travis and his staff are amazing, and he has a customer for life in me!

After trying spas and salons in places all over the U.S. I have found three of my massage and skin care soulmates. Lisa is the absolute best when it comes to careing for my sesitive skin and has helped me regain my clear skin after and outbreack of acne and hives. I have come to trust no one but Travis with my eyebrows and have developed a great relationship with Crystal when it comes to turning down the stress in my body with massage. It does not matter weather it is a 30 minute massage or a 1and 1/2 hour body treatment I feel like my body has foud peace and inner calm.

It's nice to find a salon with a professional atmosphere that includes fun, friendly, experienced and talented staff who actually answer the phone when you call to make an appointment! I'm so glad Dejha relocated to a place I feel really comfortable going to....she is simply the best. It's clean, well stocked with all the extras, no high pressure sales, great deals and a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to completely enjoy the experience.

all the staff seemed completely fake and incompetent, which i was willing to overlook if my wax went well- which it did not. i was horrified by their lack of general good business practice, such as the added expense at the end of my service, of which i was not informed of prior to my procedure, the high pressure sales tactics, the general uncleanly feel of the establishment ( like it had been a long while since a real deep cleaning), and most importantly, my wax job was AWFUL! it was uneven, and i was red and bumpy for days afterward.
i certianly will never return to this sorry excuse for a spa and would highly reccomend no one else does, either.

I had the most enjoyable time at the Salon Dewi. I had a service called the Ultimate Experience, and it was out of this world!! I was treated like royalty, and the service I recieved was the "ultimate experience" I had a relaxing facial to start with, than this seaweed wrap that made my skin feel so renewed, and to end it all I had an awsome massage. The girls that performed my service were so sweet making sure every need of mine was met. The atmosphere is so unique down to the tea I was served. I can't rave enough about this salon and the sevice I recieved. I highly recomend this service/salon to anyone who is looking for a wonderful time of pampering, relaxing and just feeling so great. I love this place.
Before I crossed through the doorway of Salon Dewi, I was a waxing virgin. But now, I'm a passionate devotee.
Something compelled me to come in that first time. Intuition? A brilliant stroke of luck? Whatever it was, I'm thrilled. I had the chance to meet Travis. He's funny, accepting, and a wonder with the wax. Now, I come in every two weeks to have my brows done and more conversation with him.
When I was in New York last weekend, I was visiting Bendel's, one of the exclusive stores on 5th Avenue. In the middle of helping me buy some cosmetics, the fashionable woman at the counter paused, then said, with awe, "Where do you get your brows done?"

Admittedly I am a bit of a day spa junkie. Every city I visit I try out a local spa. Seattle did not dissapoint! What Salon Dewi lacks in flash, it makes up in treatment. I was lucky enough to score an appointment with the talented David Martin and believe me, I will NEVER forget that massage! You may not get a terry cloth robe or a jacuzzi to hang out in, but you will walk out of Salon Dewi feeling as if you were floating on a cloud.

Take my advice - Treat yourself to a Moroccan Rhassoul Clay Wrap. You'll be cocooned in healthy minerals, ground herbs, flowers and oils followed by a relaxing full body massage. Your skin will feel refreshed and exfoliated, and your body will be relaxed and centered. Travis gave me my first Brazilian before my wedding. I was extremely nervous, but he put me at ease immediately and distracted me throughout the entire "event" with his humor and wit. He is talented and very accepting of everyone. As a larger woman, I felt he was very adept at making everyone feel they are a diva!

When I first went to Salon Dewi, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a hot cup of jasmine tea--it was so relaxing right from the start. I had their signature "Dewi" facial--which they told me means "god or goddess" in Balinese, and that is what I felt like afterward. I will definitely go back for another facial, and will try a massage next time too.

I love the facial I received from Travis. He is aswome I came all the way from Blackfoot, Idaho just for a relaxing vacation and I received so much more. I've been to Salon Dewi only twice, once for a leg wax with Mae and once for a facial with Travis. Both visits were great. I was in a hurry for the wax but Mae got me in and out of there and back to work without a hitch. She never seemed frazzled at all. She answered my questions and discussed skincare all the while distracting me from the waxjob so it seemed painless. Travis is awesome! I followed him from a previous salon and love him!!
And the art on the walls!! Fabulous!!
