Reviews for Gregg's Alderwood Cycle

Ratings_icons Not great service

Jennifer K. | insider Insider | Rank: 16,034

I was looking for a road bike and decided to check out the selection at Gregg's on my way home from work. When I told the salesperson what I was looking for, she told me that I was too tall (I'm 5'8", not THAT tall) for most of their bikes and so they only had one that would work for me. I took it on a test ride and it was okay. . .but I wanted to look for other bikes. As soon as I said that I planned to look at other places I received no more help. They seemed to have a nice selection of bikes and bike accessories. I wouldn't rule out going there for accessories, but I don't think I would go there to buy my next bike.

Ratings_icons Great cycling resource

Ruth G. | insider Insider | Rank: 19,117

Gregg's Alderwood Cycle has become a welcome and much appreciated resource for the local cycling community. Following the tradition of Gregg's Greenlake Cycle, it has brought a wide range of excellent bikes and related gear and accessories, along with quality service and cycling expertise. The staff I've interacted with have always had great product knowledge, been ready and willing to listen and answer questions, and shared their own experience when appropriate. There's no pressure to buy, just a genuine interest in outfitting customers with what will best meet their needs.

Ratings_icons Gregg's is the place for cycles!

Gregg's Aurora cycle offers the same great service as other locations. Not the biggest of shops, but provides the similar selection, service, and quality as the other Gregg's locations.

If you are looking for a good rental place for bikes, blades or even a snow board for that weekend trip to the pass Gregg's has it all . Allthough my encounters with the staff haven't been so great the selection is good they have many things you won't find at you'r mom and pop bike shop.

Ratings_icons Nothing but good experiences

I have always got what I needed when I visit this store. No salesperson on my back to scare me away. The employees are well educated in bike related issues.
As far as I know, there are other locations as well. Bellevue, Greenlake area in Seattle comes to mind.
I can only say good things at this point. So I must recommend this as the place to go for bicycles, parts, etc.

PROS: Several locations, employees, well stocked.
CONS: none yet.
