West Seattle Bowl is a really fun place to have fun. My friends and I have played here a couple of times and we had a blast. We love their glow-in-the-dark bowling with their club style lighting on Saturday nights and they dont charge you extra for it either. They have couches to sit in so you can really get comfortable.

We bowl on a leaque here every year and we just love it. This has to be the best, funnest, cleanest bowling alley in seattle. The staff is great, the girls who do the drinks are speedy and the lanes are good and dont break down on us that often. The location is good, and the price is great for the weeknd for fun bowling. Cant go wrong here!

PROS: fun, cheap, clean!
CONS:

I really like this bowling alley- although they are busy, they're not so busy that there's always someone in both lanes around you and somebody waiting, like Sunset. The house balls are minimal quality, like all independent alleys. The specials are always worth it, like quarter days or buy-a-pitcher days. If you're going to play several games, look into them FIRST. Drinks available, and a chinese restaurant connected. Stupid grafics just like all other "modernized" alleys.

I really liked bowling at these lanes. There is a fun atmosphere at the alley. There was good music, fun bowling, and a suprisingly tasty food and drink area. It was also very affordable. I was pleased with how much entertainment we got for our money. The staff is pretty friendly too.

PROS: Fun, affordable
CONS: Kind of worn down, but it is a bowling alley

I got on a bowling league with my brother in law at West Seattle Bowl. What fun. Its not just about bowling, its about good well kept lanes, fun people, and the Glow Zone, a weekend bowling experience in the dark. The whole crew is great....Mike and Andy know how to create fun.

West Seattle Bowl recently underwent a major modernization and has added new high-tech Brunswick scoring along with motorized bumpers, making it easy for families to share a lane and hiding the bumpers for older children and adults.

West Seattle Bowl also has become the first center in Seattle to feature a permanent smoke-free atmosphere. This allows for a more enjoyable time at the center and provides a healthful environment for the smoke concious. There is a smoking zone in the lounge for convienance.

It seems like bowling alleys are either for families or not, but this alley actually caters to both. They have many lanes, and it seems like a place where all sorts of people can mix and have a good time. This bowling alley even has a bar! It also has a league, which can take up a lot of lanes if it gets busy, so try to avoid league nights. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the staff seems pretty friendly. Their scoreboard is pretty advanced, with some cool graphics, too. Overall, I'd say it's a good place to go and have a good time, either with the kids or not!

One can always expect a bowling alley to have three things. 1 Bowling 2 lounge lizards 3. smoking. This place has all those and more. A decent Chinese grub spot and Midnight Glow zone bowling. This happens on Sat and is a total blast. Everything is in glow colors and lots of loads of rock and roll.

i went with a group of 30-somethings for saturday night "glow" bowling, and they played the best music, had the kitchiest lighting and disco fog, and even gave us free bowling games for hitting down at least 8 pins when the "glow" pin was up front. It was the best time all of us have had in awhile, and the friendly, cheap, no-waiting service was a joy as well. When it comes to bowling, this place rocks!
