Good used book shopping - I went yesterday twice, and found quality mysteries I hadn't heard of, as well as a book for my child and a book I'd never heard of by an author from my area. Well selected, well kept, good kids' area, well-informed owner and bookseller, customers seemed comfortable and friendly. Highly recommended!

We come here during BeatWalk. It's a cute store with a cozy seating area to read. They are very helpful and often have some special, unusual books out front that I've never seen before.

I came in on a pilgrimage to my favorite Seattle neighborhood, Columbia City. This bookstore is a gem! I came in to find a Nick Hornby book but what really made the trip was staying to chat with the owner, a friendly and interesting man. The books I found were very reasonably priced, about $5 each for contemporary fiction. Swing by while wandering 'downtown' Columbia City or after going to the Wednesday Farmers' Market!

PROS: friendly, locally-owned business, great neighborhood.
CONS:

This new bookstore in the heart of Columbia Citys historic district is worth a visit. Find used books on every topic you could imagine, or enjoy a chess game in the cozy, plush chairs by the window. Books are reasonably priced, and the selection is excellent. Show up during the monthly Beatwalk for live music and good reading.
