Oh my goodness!!! One theme I notice with ALL the VV stores is that the prices are atrocious! The average price for a blouse is $7 to $14, even on items that cost $3 new at Wal-Mart. They even leave the new tags on some items and mark the prices up. Cheap imported art glass from China is priced as though Chihuly made it. I always thought thrifts were supposed to be for frugal people that need to save money, but they mark stuff extremely high, then they have weekly sales based on tag color. If you want to buy something at a reasonable price, then you need to wait several weeks for a certain tag to go on sale. By that time, everything is picked through. Recently I saw a poorly made thin and small vintage quilt priced and an astounding $80. I also see visibly fake Rolex's pried at $900. It's insane that they think their stuff is so valuable. Thrift stores are increasingly becoming greedy. Where does that leave the poor to shop?

Great place to find great deals on used clothing, electronics, and other accessories. Also the perfect place to find just the right costume and accessories for Halloween and costume parties.

My daughter and I call this store "V V's Boutique." She can select items to fit her Indie personality, and I can usually find a nice sweater or skirt to wear to work. Regular sales and friendly employees make V V's a fun place to shop.

Value Village literally has something for everyone -- from children's toys to African masks. You can really enjoy yourself if you have an hour or two to spend here. Clothing is sorted by size and color. They have a great appliance section and some real "finds" in vintage jewelry (especially if you're willing to check back regularly). Prices are generally reasonable, although they sometimes tend to run a little high for a "thrift" shop.
