I was fitted for a leather jacket at the iron horse motorcycle rally by the owner laura debonneville... and several months later no jacket was even started....I feel that I was strung along and ultimatly lied to by ms Debonneville....the worse part is she has no remorse about being decietful to me. lying to customers and ''stringing them along'' is no way to do business in the Biker community... I would not recomend anyone shop at Stewart leathers because they can't be trusted once they give their word ...I bought my leather jacket at Harley Davidson.com instead....JF Dempster Sr.

I had some leather over pants that I need lengthened. I called and asked if this was something they could do. All I needed was 4" added to the length.
I was told this is something they can do and that having a straight hem would look like a hack job. She wanted to make the seam using flames so that the addition would look much better.
I was told it would cost $65. I thought it seemed high for just adding length, but I already spent $200 on the pants so I figured why not? I was told that she would work on them as sort of a rush time since I was hoping to use them during the Thanksgiving break. After 3 weeks, I went in and she hadn't started them. She told me she would work on them right away and call me the next day.
After 2 weeks with no call, I went back in and she still hadn't started them. Again she guaranteed they would be done the next day. I was called the next day that they were ready. I went in and was told they would be $125 because the flames were harder to do than expected. This was basically 2x the estimate! I got $5 off.
Seems like a great place, but I personally will never go back.
