Cougar Mountain Zoological Pk

Cougar Mountain Zoological Park is the zoo I have been to that has more endangered species. Although a little pricey ($8 for adults & $6 for children), I feel it's worth it at least once. Located in Issaquah, this is also a great place to picnic, with Lake Sammamish and Cascade Mountains surrounding you. The reindeers are cool, and at Christmas, they have special displays of reindeers. They are so cool. We love going here, but since we have only done it on vacation, that is not that much. We do recommend it and will visit again soon.

This is a great zoo in that they have many exhibits and animals that you wouldn't see in a regular zoo. The reindeer are so cool. At Christmas they have a special Santa program that involves the reindeer. How many other zoos have reindeer?? Not many, I suspect! The bird exhibit is wonderful. So many beautiful birds. You can have birthday parties here.

The Cougar Mountain Zoological Park is conveniently located in Issaquah. With an entrance free of $8 for adults (and $6 for children), you can see many vanishing species here.

This zoo is very close to downtown Issaquah on a winding uphill road to Cougar Mountain. Animals are well represented and have good roaming space in this zoo. Specifically, the beautiful and colorful macaws are fascinating. They also have reindeers, antelopes, lemurs and of course, cougars onsite. Christmas time will feature the reindeers in special events for the whole family.

Besides viewing animals, it is a fine place to have a picnic with the distant Lake Sammamish and Cascade Mountains vista.
