Ardesson Shoe Repair & Shoes

Ardessons is awesome, they have rebuilt my Birk's 3 times and they have lasted 9 years! Get my Ortho shoes there as I spend a lot of time on my feet. Best shoe repair in Lakewood, WA. and good people also.

We have been using Ardesson over the years for all of our shoe needs and they have done a very professional job for us and lots of our friends as well. But above the obvious shoe repair they have done a lot of Hockey equipment repairs. Leather gloves and skates and other expensive equipment both for my husband and son that play on a regular basis.

Fine for regular repairs, but poor rating for custom needs. Being disabled means I need shoe customization with specific requirements. On numerous occasions the woman in their shop did not write down the specifics of the repair or modification despite my request that she do so. This resulted in not only needing to get the adjustments corrected--at LEAST once on each shoe brought in, but on at least one occasion, I was charged for a correction to a customization that I had already paid for and that THEY had done wrong in the first place. I won't go back again. I complained over and over again about instructions not being followed--a huge time and energy waster. The work, when it was done right was very good. But when they charged me for THEIR error, that was it.

We have had shoes repaired at Ardesson's for several years. The employees are pleasant and knowledgable. This type of repair is becoming a lost art. The quality of work is wonderful and keeps us coming back. The prices are reasonable and the work is always done when quoted. From the amount of people you see going in and out, others must feel the same.
