I had been looking for a little work truck for a few months and finally found one online at Main Street. The discription in the ad sounded good so I took a chance even though I generally hate dealers and prefer to buy from owners instead. Was left alone when I got there which to me is a huge plus. Got the keys and again was left alone to play with it. Went for a drive, was shocked again as most of the time you get a chattering slimeball trying to outtalk any noises the truck makes. Came in and sat down with John and instead of the normal back and forth that takes hours he gave me a shot that I had to take.
Been three months and still love my little truck. Really can't ask for a better car lot experience! No hassle, no snake trying to push me into a different rig and simple. Have recommended to others and will go back when its time for a new ride.

Read the good reviews and one bad one and they had the right truck for me. Only thing I wish is they had financing. Took me a bit longer then I wanted as I had to go to the credit union instead of just getting it done at the lot.
I bought a 1999 Chevy S10 and have had nothing bad happen to me at all. Their ad on it was exactly right on, interior was dirty but in good shape and exterior had a small rock ding. Drove out great, still does 5k miles later.
Again, wish they had financing but very happy otherwise!

Well I took everyone's word for it over the internet, all these great reviews...... Well to my dismay once again disappointed. looking through craigslist and came across Main street motor's add for plain a 2000 dodge Intrepid. We drove over took it for a quick test drive. A few issues we did notice right away but were assured that the shifter cable was recently replaced and that they are normally "STIFF" about a month into owning the car and kids in back pulled into a gas station just off mill plain blvd, placed the vehicle in park or so I thought.... paid for my gas and was in the process of pumping when my "PARKED" car started to roll out right in front of my eyes WITH MY KIDS SITTING IN THE BACK SEAT..... I was able to hop in and stop the car before anything tragic happened. So my car was towed to a mechanic and to my surprise tells me that my shifter cable the one that brian assured me was replaced was toast. it was the original factory part and go figure that it was a dealership only part so i got to pay full price and labor for this part I was told was "new." I went to Brian upset about it. I video taped him telling me that he was told it was replaced. I kindly went back to my car pulled the damaged part out and took it into the office where i proceeded to lay into him about swelling me a car and lying to me axbout repairs that were never done. We were able to negociate a fair reimbursment for the part itself and he agreed to pay for the part not the labor. I have reciepts from him as proof this actulally took place. So here 2 months later I am in a perdicament..... I paid 2625 for the vehicle itself and my car once again is in the shop with an estimate for repairs of 2313.00 for a blown head gasket new timing belt, water pump..... basically a brand new top half of my motor. So now after 4 months of ownership I am in almost 3000$ on a vehicle I paid 2600 for. These people and the business they run is nothing short of a joke. I promised these people I would make it my mission that they never sell a faulty vehicle to another customer as long as I live. If you value your pocket book AT ALL please reconsider doing business with this establishment.

I had some trouble finding them but when I did they were very helpful and not pushy at all! Let me look and were easy to talk to. Had a great selection and were priced on the windshield, I hate it when you have to ask what the price is! Highly recommend the service and prices!

I purchased a 95 Chev silverado from Scoop and Brian on saturday june 14th and asked if I could leave my van I drove over from Boise at their lot for week. They said absolutely. I left my keys in case they needed to move it while I was gone to the coast. I left in my truck and it was as described in the add on Craigs list. I love the truck and it was more than I was expecting. I recieved news of a death in the family and had to leave Newport Oregon for Seattle. I called Scoop and told him of the situation and he said that the van could stay until I got back to pick up. They left it out for me withe the keys hidden. Thanks Guys ! I appreciate it !! I had a great experience at Main Street Motors! I had been burned at Alan Webb Nissan and hate car shopping but the salesman was not pushy and actually left me alone to look at the cars. I only had $1500 to spend and they had a good selection of cars in that price range. They actually helped me find out what the gas mileage was and printed it out for me as well as gave me a carfax report without my asking for one. I went home and cam back the next day and bought my little corolla. Its not perfect, has a few dings and stuff, but their ad was spot on in describing it so I have no complaints! Runs and drives great at a great price! I would recommend them and do recommend them to anyone I know needing a car!

I was looking for a SUV or wagon for under $5000 and most dealers continued to push more expensive rigs even though I repeatedly said that 5 was our max. Saw their craigslist postings and thought they were funny so spent some time to find them, do not mapquest as it takes you all over the place, call and get directions first!!! They moved from Downtown Vancouver this spring they were happy to give me easy directions to their new lot just north of Costco. Didn't hover or attack me when we parked, which I loved right away. Had previously sold the SUV I came in on (my fault, I didn't check the ad the night before and would have seen that it was gone) but had two Subaru wagons that were priced better than the SUV was. They said they had a deal done at the credit union on the first one, the people came in just after I said to the salesman that I figured it was a sales tactic and they bought it right before my eyes. I drove the other, a one owner 97 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon and it was exactly what we wanted. Purchased it and have loved it ever since! Got a call from the dealership less than a week later as it turns out the prior owner brought in a huge stack of paperwork including a receipt for a new engine 20K ago! Would highly recommend Bryan, Scoop and the gang over there! My son turns 16 in a few months and they will be the first stop!
