Do not bring your pets here if you love your pet. We brought our dog here for treatment. She was left in the same position in her own urine and fecal matter on the same filthy blanket for 4 days (she was not able to go out). We came in everyday and cleaned her up and requested a clean blanket and that she be turned. Her IV had not been changed in 5 days and her paw was swelling, and nothing was done when we reported it. On several occassions, she could have choked on old food that collected in her mouth -- she was never checked - we found this, and when it wasa reported to garoya? Nothing. We wanted to take our dog to another facility but the doctor told us he would not allow it because noone was as good as he was. Sadly, by the time they were willing to let us remove our dog it was too late. Doctor Garayo says everything you want to hear but he never gave us the time of day (except when we wanted to remove our dog) and he always gave us a different answer to the same question about our pet along with 'I don't know". Dr. nagara flutters about dazed and confused and has no idea how to answer questions regarding pets' health (might, maybe, possibly). Requests we made for tests were never followed through. It appears the are out of their realm in dealing with difficult cases. (They were overheard discussing the some 80 spay/neuter surgeries scheduled the next day, there were 2 pets with small tumor removals.) The lady who answers the phone (and stays on the phone pretty much all day) is supposedly a licensed vet tech yet this person was seen smacking against cage right where a sleeping kitten was recuperating from spaying, and laughing. This same person was observed trying to use a dirty syringe on our pet. We stopped her in time and insisted she use a clean one. It is filthy, and unsanitary - our dog never received any kind of interaction or attentiveness: none of the animals did except to be fed. To you who believe this is just the greatest place for your pet - it is obvious you never visited your pet at different times. We only wish there was someone who wrote about this place. We would've taken our dog elsewhere and she would be alive today. We hope this helps someone. If you have to skip movies or a dinner for a while to go elsewhere, your pet has always been faithful and loyal to you and given you unconditional love -- please, take your pet somewhere she/he can get the help they deserve; where it is clean and sterile, and they will be cared for.
