American Eagles Hobby Shop

You can tell when you walk in that they love what they do. The staff was super knowledgeable and knew their stock in and out, which is a feat considering all the great merchandise packed in there. They let my son use his own slot cars on their huge slot car track and even did a minor repair on his car for free, chatting with him the whole time about the ins and outs of slot car racing. A Seattle Gem.

Located up north in Lake City, this shop has over $2M in inventory, and it shows. Anything you need for your model you can find here, not to mention all kinds of models, from complex wooden ships, to standard airplanes, cars, and remote-controlled vehicles. Some friends and I did a tour of all the hobby shops in the area (including an obscure one in Fife), and this was by far the most impressive. Parking is a little tough since American Eagles is located right on 522, but at least you can rest assured that you can get anything you need for your hobby locally!

This store has a very comprehensive selection of model airplanes and everything you need to put them together. Prices are competitive. Only downside is hard-to-find parking on busy days.

This store has it all. Models, rockets, remote control vehicles, games, toys, you name it. A great place to shop for children or adult hobbyists.
