I have been going to Nail Time for at least 10 years. In the past couple years it seems to have gone downhill.
Sometimes the pedicures are awesome and sometimes they are awful. The last one I recieved
a "spa pedicure" lasted 20 minutes from start to finish. It wasnt very busy either. I also brought a friend. It was 66.00 for both. They have a flatscreen TV now, which is sad, because I loved the music they use to play and it was nice to get away from the TV! They also seem to have a plumbing problem because it smelled like sewage. It was not very clean. It is sad because it wasnt always that way. It use to be the best.

I recently took my visiting niece to see the ladies at Nail Time for pedicures and girl time. We enjoyed the pedicures and thought they did a wonderful job. Sam is the owner and always greets her customers with a smile and never forgets a name!

Nail Time is my favorite nail salon and is definitely the best in West Seattle. I started going to Nail Time when they first opened in 1994 or so. I took a few years off and returned as a regular about 8 years ago. It??s the biggest salon of its kind in the WS area; they have the most spa chairs, nail stations and staff. They are all very professional and make an extra effort to provide a sanitary environment. They sterilize the utensils after each use, which is a very important fact! Samantha, the owner is the sweetest! She has an experienced staff and a low turn over rate, which is uncommon in this industry. I??ve been going there so long that I??ve seen people come and go but I??ve also seen some of the same faces for several years. I??ve become spoiled and only have Sam do my nails. I found out recently during Sam??s absence that Lisa is extremely talented as well. So, for the fingers?it??s Sam or Lisa. I??m not so picky on my pedicures, they all do a great job?Mimi is one of my favorites for pedicures and eyebrow waxes though.

Pros: Professional, clean and friendly!

Cons: Street Parking - Hard to find parking

Totally prepared to like this place because it was highly recommended. Coming from S. California, nails were a commodity and there were plenty of places that were clean, fun, nice and cheap. Here they are dirtier, less regulated(apparently) and much more expensive. The spa treatment here is 40.00 and it is totally spa. It felt good and was pretty clean. Trouble was, when done my fingers and feet were really torn up from careless cutting. I did not see how they cleaned their instruments. It is troubling to have cuts on both feet and hands. Also, the guy running the cash machine was not too bright. He twice told me my card was denied-impossible since I had just deposited.I had to run to the bank, get the money and go back. I was not happy about it. While I was there, a very entitled, legend to their West Seattle selves couple were having a glass of wine from the bottle in their portable cooler they brought along. Both the male and the female were getting pedicures and it was sort of a tacky moment as they toasted their lives. There was no escaping it because it was a hot, crowded Friday night. Afterwards, they scrambled to leave a couple of dollars tip-also tacky since it could have, should have been more.

Pros: Manicure and pedicure initially looked good

Cons: Cuts on both hands and feet very troubling-unattentive person.
