Yummy Veggie Fare

by Erik N. | insider Insider | Rank: 29,040

Good vegetarian food. Calming atmosphere. Lots of veggie staples and always a few creative offerings as well.
Nice place for a small group gathering.

Fresh, creative, delectable food

by Lori S. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 108

I love having breakfast here! The big scrambler dish with the side of potatoes or cheesy grits! Or, brioche lemon curd french toast. Or, pancakes with luscious berry compote. Great espresso drinks and flavorful teas. The best place to sit is in the garden room with the fountain!

Inventive and tasty

by Clara T.

The highest praise I can give is that the food is good enough for a memorable meal even for meat-eaters. Cafe Flora is either a vegan restaurant or a vegetarian one with several vegan dishes, I'm not sure, but it's in a pretty setting with very good food. The entrees are especially good and well worth sharing.

Healthy food that actually tastes good

by Sandra S. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,403

You'll forget you're at a vegetarian restaurant when you sample some of the delightful entrees on the menu here. Go for brunch, sit in the atrium and enjoy hazelnut-banana pancakes while sipping champagne. The coffee is good, too... an important measuring stick for the caffeine-addict.

PROS: Great food, friendly staff, satisfying ambience
CONS: No vodka on hand for bloody Mary thirst quenchers

Saving Grace When You're Converting, and Even When You're Not...

by Karen L.

Fantastic energy as evidenced by bold and bright-colored art on the walls and a lush atrium seating area that is particularly refreshing and inviting in the summer. A good sell for your non-veggie friends to convince them that not all vegetarian cuisine is dirt and grass or pasta. Brunch is great, as is dinner. My only beef (no pun intended) with the place is that they seem relatively skimpy when it comes to introducing new items. But that is balanced out by the Flora classics like their brunch beignets, caesar salad with toasted capers, and yummy French Dip sandwich.

PROS: Fabulous food, great date place
CONS: relatively static menu going on several years now

Great Vegetarian Food

by Anonymous

Great for dinner! There is a good selection of vegetarian food here. The food is great and the presentation is superb. I love the desserts. The dcor is nice especially with the fountain in the middle of the room. Service is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for non vegetarians as well.

Great restaurant, pleasantly decorated on the inside and out as you can see on the website, and the food was wonderful - especially the dessert.
