I wish had seen these other reviews before going there tonight with my daughter. The food was okay at best, but the service was shocking. The server didn't even greet us when we arrived and we simply had to guess that the menus he threw

I have ordered food from this restaurant regularly for over a year and recently placed an order for delivery. Unfortunately, I lost my debit card and was waiting for a new one so I told them I'd be writing a check. According to their website, they accept checks with valid drivers license, etc. However, when I called they gave me a line about the fact that they don't accept checks from people who live in apartments because they bounce checks! Not only is this the most ridiculous and insulting thing I've ever heard, but the person on the phone was extremely rude and didn't seem to care that they were going to lose a regular customer. If you live in a house, I guess your fine, but if you live in an apartment, forget about customer service!

My husband, daughter, and I tried this place tonight. We had a terrible experience. We had a gift certificate from restaurant.dotcom to use. They REFUSED to accept it. They gave us a crazy story about restaurant.dotcom stealing their logo and it was fraud. One of the conditions of the gift certificate was that you had to order at least $35 in food. We ended up ordering over $40 in food. Much more than we would normally order. They wouldn't work with us at all. They were rude and made my daughter cry. It really was a terrible experience. You should definately think twice before going here. If you have a restaurant.dotcom gift certificate I highly suggest you show it to them before you order.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this restaurant. I ordered food to be delivered around 3 hours ago. I called to ask where they were 50 minutes later and the guy frantically said he would call me later. When I didn't hear back 1.5 hours later I called the restaurant and the hostess casually said they couldn't find it and the deliverer drove back to the restaurant. She told me I could pick it up if I wanted it. I was never notified that my food wasn't coming to me and I did not feel that they really cared at all. Terrible customer service.

I have been patronizing Pandasia for about 12 years now, both for delivery and dine in. Since they have changed owners I have noticed a definate change in the quality in the food from very good to below average, I wanted to give them another shot. I visited their web site and viewed their menu to place an order, after calling and placing the order it was apparent that the total was wrong and I was over charged $3. When calling back to confirm the mistake they proceeded to tell me that I had an old menu, I told them I was looking at their web site menu and they should honor the pricing that is advertised. They then told me their web site had not been updated in a year. They made no effort to make up for the false advertising on their web site menu and the owner or manager in the background was speaking an asian foreign language and seemed very irritated with my call. I promptly canceled my order and will not be patronizing this establishment again.

Alright. I don?t want to be mean, but I will be honest. The food was so bad that we didn?t even finish our meals. It was so bad that I felt compelled to sign up on to this site and tell everyone to save your money and go to QFC and get something from the deli.
I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan and my wife ordered the Phad Thai. (I have been to both China and Thailand a number of times, but I am judging their food against other American restaurants? food.) The Moo Goo Gai Pan was drenched in oil and was made from brown sauce. Most often you will find the white-chicken based sauce. Most egregious of all, it had friggin? Shiitake mushrooms in it. Shiitake mushrooms do not belong in Moo Goo?.Moo Goo means ?white button mushrooms?. Also note worthy was the absence of water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and the Chinese cabbage was scarce. The chicken pieces were ok. The Phad Thai was made from cheap rice noodles and I was shocked that the sauce was made from ketchup and some pepper flakes. I?m not trying to be inflammatory or rely on hyperbole to make a point. It was really ketchup. There was not a trace of cilantro and there was about a two-inch piece of green onion. The only other onion we found was yellow onion. It was by far the worst tasting thing I have ever eaten. It was so bad that we laughed! We just had some Frosted Flakes to fill the void and watched Family Guy.
Only saving grace= The delivery guy was nice and was here in about 30 min. So, if you have no taste-buds, you can call and meet the nice man who came to our place.
P.S. My heart is pounding in my chest now and I could possibly die. I write back tomorrow if I do.

I am a regular customer of Pandasia, both dine-in and delivery and have to say that it is my all time favorite for flavor, customer service, and convenience.

Pandasia hand-seasons and breads all meats, from savory calimari to perfectly tender chicken, pork or beef. The dry string beans (hold the pork for me!) are superb and traditional tasting, and the crispy ginger beef is simply amazing! For the most unique spin on chow mein, the Pandameinia (with two types of home-made noodles) is NOT TO BE MISSED!

For a fresh-cooked traditional Chinese meal delivered to your front door, Pandasia's delivery can't be beat. Wait times can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is and how many deliveries are going out - on a weeknight this can be as quick as under half an hour to around an hour on busier nights. The drivers that I've encountered have been polite, professional, and enthusiastic about customer service. If you live in the north Seattle area - especially Magnolia, Queen Anne, Ballard or Fremont - DON'T MISS PANDASIA!!!

Living in Magnolia, my wife and I do not have much choice in delivery for asian food. We had previously eaten in at Pandasia, and while the food was mediocre, the helpings were generous, so I assumed they were worth a shot for something simple like sweet & sour chicken. Boy was I wrong! We ordered on a Friday night after a long week of work, hungry and tired, thinking a yummy mess of sweet and sour chicken would do the trick. After we waited for an hour, the delivery driver finally showed up, we made the exchange, I gave 20% tip, and we looked forward to a tasty meal. Unfortunately, they did not deliver the critical element of the sweet and sour sauce, so all we had was the chicken. OK, this was a mistake, not unforgivable, but the obviously simple remedy of having the driver return post-haste with the sauce was what turned this into an infuriating experience, meriting a single star review. After I called to get the replacement sauce, it took the driver another hour to return (from a restaurante that is 5 minutes away), and then the sauce was cold. When I called the restaurant to complain, the smug young man answering the phone essentially told me that there was nothing that they would do to remedy the miserable experience that was their delivery meal. No partial refund for my crappy meal, no return of my tip, for the crappy services they rendered. Nothing. I've never been hosed like this at a restaurant. This place will not get another dime of my business, ever. Bad restaurant!

Pandasia used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Sadly, that changed recently when they changed the name to the "New" Pandasia.

We went for an early dinner the other night expecting to enjoy our usual dishes. Everything was wrong.

Our server never did bring the hot and sour soup. After one bite my husband spat out his pork potsticker and refused to eat any more (he used to rave about them). The spinach potstickers were no longer prepared with spinach wrappers, and the filling tasted funny. The General Tso's chicken was chewy and gristly. Every visit prior to this one, the Mongolian Beef was made with lots of tender beef and scallions; this time it was loaded with big chunks of onions, to which my husband is violently allergic. When he brought it back over to the kitchen window and pointed out that the dish never had onions before and that he has an allergy, he was told "well you should have ordered it the old way - this is the NEW Pandasia." He pointed out that in that case they might want to update their menu because he had no way of knowing there was a "new" Mongolian Beef. The kitchen finally agreed to remake the dish "the old way" but that apparently sparked a battle between the server and the cook who proceeded to scream at each other at the top of their lungs in Chinese throughout the rest of our meal.

The "New" Pandasia is a sad shadow of what Pandasia used to be. Order a pizza instead.

Ordered take out the other night after finding out they deliver for free. I thought it was a bit pricey for the food but once the food arrived I changed my mind. You get large portions and considering how Chinese food can be very oily & unhealthy looking & tasting, it was VERY good. I had the lettuce wraps and my boyfriend had General Zso's chicken and we had two orders of the pork potstickers. The potstickers rocked! Very prompt service too!

I live on QA. Finding places that deliver anything but pizza has become almost impossible. So, when i stumbled on the fact that Pandasia delivers, I was very happy. I was not looking for a world class experience, but I got my food quickly, it was pretty good, still hot and fresh and three of us ate and had plenty pf leftovers for 30 bucks including a good tip for our driver. I have ordered several times now, and it is always here pretty fast, tastes good and is better than driving out when all I want to do is pop in a movie and chill at the Casa. Thanks to the nice folks there who have always treated us like valued customers. =)

If you're going to spend $30-50 for two why not go some place good? I don't mind spending that much but I expect a certain quality of food for it. The food here isn't bad, it's just not worth the price.

This place is super convenient with quick delivery... so far, we aren't overly excited about the food. The bbq pork fried rice is top notch, everything else we've tried (about 4-5 dishes) is disappointing.

The noodles were very overcooked, the sauce was virtually tasteless except for ketchup. Our portion was large but had little chicken and the few strips where quite dry. Every few bites I found a crunchy-sweet bunch of what must have been some sort of peanut powder. I felt overcharged at around $7 for this unapealing plate.
Service was unremarkable. The seating felt too close to the noisy kitchen and the view of Dravus was not my idea of a nice dinner location.

Although this restaurant advertises that they use only vegetable oil for frying, it was obvious they used way too much of it and that the temperature used was too high. The food tasted mostly like over-heated/burned oil and the consistency was extremely greasy. None of the flavors in the ingredients were noticeable. It would have been much better served cold without the addition of all the grease. At the prices they charge, the food should be stellar. Nope. A cheap neighborhood dive would be a better choice and a much better value.

We gave this place a second chance, and it turned out worse than the first time. Why do so many people like this place? Please note my only experience with them is from delivery though. The pad thai had zero spice. Despite the all the oil, the noodles were stuck together so that when you tried to pull out a forkful, the whole dish came up. We also ordered the "General Tso Orange Chicken." There wasn't nothing "General Tso" or "Orange" about this. No hot spice, no orange flavor. The sauce was bright red ~ kind of like sweet & sour red, but there was no flavor. And... they gave us no rice. When I called, they didn't mention you have to order rice a'la carte. Who eats orange chicken without rice? Thai & Chinese all in one store? Sounds too good to be true.... it probaly is!!

I started eating at Pandasia when I lived on Queen Anne 5 years ago, and haven't stopped since. They have the best Asian delivery in the city, and it's free! I only wish they could expand the service area to Roosevelt, where I live now. But if you live in Magnolia, Queen Anne, Ballard, etc, I recommend you give them a call! Even though there are many Asian restaurants in my area, I still make the drive out there at least a few times a month to dine in or take-out. The food and service are excellent, and the extensive menu has something for everyone.

The food was good, but not great. The black bean curd salmon was smaller than usual and somewhat salty. The orange beef was either so thinly sliced as to be undetectable, or they forgot to put the beef into the dish. The soup was good. The waitress was incredibly nice, but the manager was an incredibly rude you-know-what. We were there slightly past closing and had already signed the bill. I guess he wanted to close his till, as he rudely grabbed the receipt from the table without saying, "thank you" or even "excuse me." It was clear he just wanted the money and didn't care about repeat customers . . . or diner reviews. He ruined a good evening for me.

While I live south of the airport, my family and I make it a point to visit Pandasia at least once a month. It's a must after a visit to the Children's Theatre or EMP. I enjoy visits with adventuresome friends so that I can try something new. Everyone from my no-heat one star son to my vegetarian 5 star friend finds something they love on the menu. Right now, I'm loving their fresh sheet dishes using fresh-from-the-woods chantrelle mushrooms. It doesn't get better than this.
Pandasia's is constantly updating their menu to add the northwest twist to old favorites. If only it wasn't impolite to lick the dishes!
Obviously a family run business, I enjoy seeing the heir apparent bussing tables on Friday evenings. This young man takes his work very seriously with great responsibility and pride. What great values to be teaching the next generation.

The food is fantastic and our waiter was even better. Each of his suggestions was spot on. He kept us laughing and having a great time. My only complaint was the middle aged couple behind the counter(the owners, I suspect) loudly arguing in front of customers. This was very unprofessional. We will definitely be back, though.
