This is a great marketplace, that has been in the same place for generations. My Mother used to shop here when she was young, and now my grandchildren love to come here, too. When my cousin from Norway visited us, her first request was to see the 'flying fish', so it is a great tourist attraction, as well. It is a great place to buy fresh produce, flowers, jewelry, spices, as well as many unique gift items!

PROS: One of Seattle's best know spots!

This is such a fun place to visit and a great place to take people who are visiting Seattle. You can get lots of fun crafts, produce, and especially dried flowers.

Pike's place is a must see! It has many unique shops and outdoor vendors. The flowers that are for sale are amazing and very reasonably priced. Be sure to watch them throw the fish!

If you have never been to Seattle or live here year round, this place is awesome. The food, the crafts are splendid. For a taste of Seattle, this is the place to go. Local Vendors sell great fresh vegetables and fish and the flowers in all seasons are wonderful.

The Pike Place Market is a fun afternoon activity, especially if you are a tourist. They have fun little shops and great food. Check out the candy apple store...AMAZING!! The flowers are awesome and really cheap too. A friend purchased her wedding bouquets and center pieces there and they were beautiful and very affordable.

If you have family visiting your regularly like I do, then you've been here a gazillion times. If you haven't, make time to do so. The fish throwing is pretty cool, there is a great selection of fruits and veggies, and sometimes some pretty cool art and clothing vendors. The only reasons it isn't world class are that the fish STINK up the whole place, the floor is grimy, sometimes so crowded you have to push through to see things, and parking is a mad house. Take the chance to cross the street to visit the first Starbucks ever, and to sample Beecher's cheeses

PROS: diversity, fun
CONS: stinky stinky stinky.

This is always a must-stop when in Seattle. There is so much so close! In the market itself my favorite is the fresh food and flowers. You can find anything you've a hankering for, including many ethnic offerings. There is, of course, the fish shop at the main enterance where they throw the fish (they're pros - you're not expected to catch it). There are lots of neat shops - magic shops, restaurants and many local artisans. Very fun stop - great "window" shopping!

This is a must visit place when you are in Seattle. The famous lobster stall where fish flying and people screaming is very common. Fresh seafood, vegetables and fruits is everywhere. Unique souvenir can be obtained here- the one and only. Also you can find the first Starbucks store just across the street.
