The Vince's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria story begins in the most fascinating of all Italian cities, Naples. Enzo (Vince) Mottola and wife Ada were both born and raised in the same neighborhood in the heart of Naples. After getting married, they moved to the US, settling in the Italian neighborhood of Seattle in 1954. In Italy, Vince had worked at a famous catering company in Naples, and like many Neopolitans, had a passion for the food of his hometown. In 1957 Vince and Ada opened their first Italian restaurant with Vince manning the kitchen and Ada the tables. Their goals were simple: provide authentic Italian meals at a price that families could afford, just like the neighborhood restaurants and pizzerias of Naples. That's our story. We invite you to come in and experience the warmth, charm and delicious Italian cuisine at Vince's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria.

Good food and atmosphere. It is well priced for the food and and friendly wait staff. It is not to far from home and also has take out orders. You won't be disappointed.

Not for Spaghetti-O's Fans...

This is real Itallian, folks. I don't usually think it's worth the bother to eat what West Coast restaurants refer to as 'itallian'. But hunger can bring out surprises, and I'm so glad that it did. I ordered Fettuccine alla Caprese and darn near cried when I was finished eating it. HAVE NOT had fettuccine this good since the mid 80s. The sauce was so delicious!! Highly recommended, and the pizza is good too, not a NY pizza but good for Seattle.

Decent

Decent Pizza, but the pasta and salad was what I'd call sub par. Good ambiance, friendly service earn this otherwise mediocre restaurant a satisfactory in my book.

I'm not an italian cuisine expert, I asked the waiter if I should stick with what I know (lasagne with meatsauce) or try the osso bucco which looked interesting. Most definitely it was wonderful. I had never had it before so I don't know if it is the way it is 'supposed' to be done but I DO know what I like and I liked it alot! Sometimes it really pays to question and listen to your server.

Although I have heard great reviews for this place, I did not find that I agree with any of them. On the good side, it is a clean, well staffed, and friendly place. The location is wonderful. The prices are only fair. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the food left much to be desired for me. I went with a friend and we ordered fairly run of the mill Italian entrees. However, we were both very disappointed and could not even eat the food. The flavor was far different, too different in fact, than any other Italian restaurant Ive been to. It tasted like the chef got a bit TOO creative. I have heard their pizza is excellent, but I cant vouch for that as Ive never tried it myself. Id say go and see what you think, but know that you were forewarned!

I think Vince has some other locations but I must say, you will never be disappointed by anything you eat here. They have the greatest food and fastest service in town.

Great food, nice atmosphere, good service

I've been eating at Vince's in Burien since about 1984. It is a favorite to this day for my son and I. There is something for everyone. Their pasta dishes are a great comfort food and with all the options for different sauces it never gets boring. We never feel ignored when we dine in. We will be back over and over again.
Pros: variety

Good italian
by kee22
Everyone in Burien knows about Vince's...it's basically a city favorite. I don't think that they have the best italian food, but it's pretty good. The 1/2 sphagetti & 1/2 raviolli is pretty good. The customer service is also good.
Pros: Good italian, good service
Cons: na
