Master Car Care is a 2 car garage tiny mom & pop business in Federal Way, WA. About 6 months ago I took my '99 Toyota 4Runner there to fix the lock actuator in my drivers side door. He gave me the choice on two different actuators to choose from, one low priced/quality and one high priced/quality and then quoted the labor at about only 1 hour! I was amazed already. Then he called me about 1 hour later and said it was done. On the bill there was only 1/2 hour of labor charged! I asked about this and he said it only took 1/2 hour to fix, hence 1/2 hour labor charged. Freakin Amazing!!! I had never heard of a car repair shop charging any less than 1 hour of labor no matter if it took 5 minutes or 60 minutes.3 months later my battery is dying for no reason, i get a new battery and its dead in 2 weeks. I take it in to the same shop and he does some extensive electric testing and determines that my aftermarket car alarm is too powerful, it is draining the battery, the only thing to do is take it out and go back to the old alarm. So i bought a small solar panel that hooks into my cigarette lighter and trickle charges the battery. Never dead since, and i keep my good alarm system. The guy at the auto shop didn't charge me a dime for the electric testing.Last month my wife's car over heats, '00 Dodge Neon, leaking coolant everywhere, i tried to pour some new coolant into it buy it drains right out of the left side of the engine. I have it towed to Master Car Care and the guy says it may be just the water pump or it could also be that the head gaskets are blown. HEADGASKET!!! Oh no thats like a grand to fix!!! Turns out just the waterpump broke because we had never done the 90k mile maintenance. He could have ripped us off by saying it was the headgasket too, but he was totally honest.Really good honest people, the guys name is Myung Yu, Asian guy. The only bad thing about the place is that its sorta hard to find its tucked away on 341st just East of Hwy99 in Federal Way.
