Hau hau market has really good prices. I recommend you buy the fresh fruits and vegetables. I think they restock every like 3 day its really popular. THE BEST JUICIEST ORANGES!

Cookies and crackers and other thing along the line unless popular stay way from. Most asian products don't have the expiration date on. Be careful. Luckily if you find out its bad they will happily give your refund back:)

Pros: cheap

Cons: its not the prettiest store

.

This grocery store is located on the east side of the international district. It has a good selection of produce, canned food, meat, etc. Price is similar to Viet Hoa, and cheaper than Uwajimaya. However the place is a bit run-down and parking (in the underground garage) can be tough on weekends.

PROS: price
CONS: place is not tidy

The Hau Hau Market is is one of the larger Asian food markets around the International District. Not as big as Uwajimaya, but bigger than the little shops. They have a big range of Oriental foods they sell, and for Chinese and Vietnamese foods the prices are cheaper than Uwajimaya although they don't carry much Japanese food.

I used to think that this Chinese grocery store was good, since they carry a lot of different Chinese and Asian foods that are mostly pretty cheap, but the fruits and vegetables are such bad quality! They are cheap, but I saw some last I went there that were getting old and some were actually moldy. Also there seems to be so much wax or pesticide or preservatives(?) on the fruits, so your hands feel dirty after you touch them.
