We loved your Defensive Driving School! The coarse was very well organized and informative. My son was very complimentary of his teacher (which is not usually the case.....). He learned alot and was appreciative of his teachers patient manner during the car rides, irregardless of how good or bad the driver was behind the wheel. As a parent, I found the evening that I spent in the classroom very interesting. I have two more children and we will be back!

I had a good experience with Defensive. I've never had a drive cancelled. My instructor Ted has a lot of experience and was very friendly and Knowledgeable. I would recommend this school.

I don't know what planet your previous reviewer is from, but our experience at this driving school is quite different.
So far, my teenager is just "doing time" in the classroom portion of this course. The instructor seems to have absolutely no skills in teaching teenagers. For instance, he says to the class "If any of you have ever ridden in a car with another person driving, please raise your hand". (No, duh, I'm from Atlantis!) So, of course after a few comments like this, a group of teenagers will ignore such inane comments. Then, he gets angry with the class when nobody is raising their hand! If anything, my child is learning how to control emotions and resist the urge to lash out at this instructor.
The other complaint we have is that the first 4 driving lessons have been canceled -- the last one only 5 minutes before the lesson! Of course, they require that we give 2 days notice to reschedule a lesson.
After speaking with friends in other driving courses, we've come to the conclusion that most of them are pretty bad and the parents should expect to do most of the "real" teaching.
Good luck, you're going to need it.
