Union Restaurant

I had a really exciting and novel experience at the Union Restaurant at 1400 Union St. in Seattle. The service was exceptional and the food was artfully plated and sooooooooo good!

We recently visited the Union Restaurant and they certainly met and exceeded any expectations we had. The staff was so friendly and efficient. All the food was fresh and prepared by an absolute "professional". It was a multi course dinner served at timely intervals and very attractively presented on the serving plate. I would highly recommend this establishment for a special evening of fantastic food and atmosphere.

At the Union, every dish is a special treat, a surprise and an education. I'm a picky eater and was scared to try the gourmet food at this restaurant near Pike Place Market. I have been to the Union twice now and even scary sounding dishes prove to be delicious. With Chef Ethan Stowell, I'm not afraid to try anything! No wonder Food and Wine Magazine have named Ethan "Best New Chef" for 2008!

Both the food and the service are excellent at Union Restaurant. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant. The menu is creative and changes frequently to take advantage of the freshest ingredients available. Ive tried some amazing dishes, including risotto with pigs ears and octopus that was so tender I could cut it with a fork. I can't wait to see what will be on the menu next. All in all, a fabulous dining experience.
