I got a gift certificate from a friend and went there to try it out. It was nice, the drinks and food were great, service was nice, but the busing servers were not working properly, it was a little disturbing. Although the price is quite stiff, I would still recommend it.

Out of all the restaurants in Seattle, this is my favorite. Good memories, good food. Excellent food. Everything I've ever tasted, including their awesome desserts, was delicious. Love their fresh salsa -ish dip. Love their appetizers. Yum. Maybe not the most fat - free, but man, is it good. A little pricey (20 - 40 dollars per plate), but that's just because it's that kind of restaurant. They do have some cheaper dishes....the margarita pizza with fresh basil, and garlic, and the chop - chop salad - the best chop - chop I've ever had. Service is awesome. Expect a few minutes wait on busy nights.
PROS: Great, great food!
CONS: A little pricey.

I like the Palomino for the wonderful smell, those large windows looking over 5th Avenue and their margaritas. Made from scratch. It's a bit busy on Friday nights, actually chaotic sometimes but still worth a visit. Close to the 5th Ave theater.

Palomino not only serves great food, it's atmosphere is classy and friendly. The wait staff goes out of their way to help you and accomodate any special requests. Their lunch menu (on the cafe/bar side) is very reasonably priced and tasty! The Chop Chop salad can't be beat!

Knowledge of good happy hours is not an easy thing to achieve. So, Ill continue to spread the word about places that offer truly good deals on drinks and apps during their happy hour. Palomino offers impressive prices on wine and cocktails ($3-$5), as well as a small menu consisting of calamari, crab and artichoke dip, fried potatoes, bruschetta, and more and all for about $5. For a downtown restaurant above Barneys, this is a great deal.

The Palamino is a great little place. Noisy yes,
crowded sometimes but their appetizers are
the greatest. The best: margaritas. They make
them with fresh lime. If you can get in when
its not crowded its really got great ambiance.

This is my favorite restauraunt on the planet. I can always find something amazing on the menu. The fish is great (especially the stuffed halibut or mahi). The steak is fantastic and the service is excellent. They even know when we walk in the door that we want to color. They get crayons and coloring pages for us immediately.
