I've been attending The Rock Church (TRC) since I was 5 years old. I have made lifelong friendships in this church. As a child, I met Jesus at TRC. This church has shown me the love of Christ in a real, practical way. As an adult, when I was going through a difficult season, the leaders and Pastors were right there encouraging me, speaking scriptures from the Bible, praying for me and supporting me in more than one way. My children LOVE going to church. What they learn in the children's classes is invaluable. They come home talking about what they've learned and they have a love for reading their Bible, which is priceless!! I love the generations that attend this church. From children to grandparents and everything in between. Jesus truly is the center of this church. Jesus has saved my life and my family has a deeper relationship with Him because of The Rock Church. I'm thankful for the Bible based teaching. The weekend messages leave me thinking, and with a greater desire to read and study the Word of God.

I've been attending The Rock Church since 2000; I found Jesus in this church, I was baptized in this church and I continue to help impact the lives in our community and beyond through my serving because of this church. Like me, this church isn't perfect and I can totally respect that. It's a church of growth, equipping, doing things differently and going forth in a big way and without fear. The worship experience is over the top and among the best I've ever seen. The Sunday and mid-week messages are impactful and Bible based and lead to Life change. I am ever thankful for The Rock Church and I would encourage everyone to attend because the team that serves in this church are heart centered, God loving, kind, warmhearted people who make people feel like they've been a friend for life. That's my kind of church... I think it could be yours, too.

Visited this weekend with my sister-in-law and brother and enjoyed this church. I normally attend Mars Hill as I live in Ballard, so won't be switching over, but a great talk by the pastor, soundly grounded in biblical doctrine and used scripture extensively in a logical, persuasive dialog...as it should be. Good to see a church where people are invited to the pulpit for individual prayer at the end of service and where one could see examples of people praying for one another in the lobby. Real love and faith was expressed. This is church people!

Visited here last week with friends, though we don't live in the Seattle area. Our kids absolutely loved the place and remembered what they learned in Sunday school...a first for them. The music was a little loud for my husband and I (maybe normal for Seattle). We loved how people really got involved with the music and the message. We saw they were doing a series with "BS" in the title and got a little nervous, but it was really good. Definitely different than what we are use to, but looking forward to going back when we are in the Seattle area. Wish we had something similar near us.

I went to Citipointe Live last Wednesday night at The Rock Church! It was phenomenal. I love the heart of worship at The Rock Church. Every week it's really well done, and it connects me to the Lord. Thank You TRC!

My experience with The Rock Church has been extensive. I've experienced the growth and changes as our church culture has went from obscurity to one of vision. In every endeavor--serving, financial, missions, community event--there is a great sense of transparency and honesty. I enjoy hearing about the realities our church is going through, good and bad, financial and otherwise. I want to know the likes, dislikes, dreams and disappointments of my church.
If you desire a Christian Church that lacks judgment & perfection, but exemplifies grace & transparency The Rock Church might be for you. The people are not perfect, the music is not perfect, the pastors are not perfect, nor is any facet of the ministry, but what organization is, especially churches? No leader/pastor is perfect, but I give props and honor to those who put it on the line week in and week out. One thing you will get with Jeff Knight, the Lead Pastor, is transparency, honesty, respect, and when he errors, he tells us, there is nothing pseudo about it.
My kids love this church, teens connect and I enjoy being a part of a church winning on so many levels. Again, not perfection, mistakes are made, but in many ways The Rock Church is hitting it out of the park.

My family and I have found this church to be an amazing place to go and learn more about the word of God.
EVERYONE was more than friendly and cared about the experience we had. I have found this church to be a place for those to go who will not be judged or expected to behave religious.
My only issue has been that not much is offered during the week I wish they had a mid week service!!
If you want to go to Church to feel the Holy Spirit and to feel like you are around your brothers and sisters then give the Rock a try...

I basically only attend this church for my teen child who seems to enjoy it more so than the traditional churches in the area. The music, lights, and atmosphere with sometimes comedic and easy to understand sermons make this church a great place for youth or those that just want the fast-food version of church. I am in my early 30's and do enjoy the music but I find myself biting my cheek too often when the Pastors preach. They are a bit loose tongue'd and have found on more than one occasion something being said that could be considered offensive. You don't really get the sense that it's a spiritual place, it feels more like a bar with people waving their arms in the air. There seems to be a great deal of emphasis on giving money to the much too large overhead of tech toys and Pastors. Scriptural reading or any other mention of the bible is very light, often the majority of the sermons are personal stories that only members who are vested in the personal life of their Pastors day to day on goings would care about. I will just say it's not for those looking for a modern but in depth church. This church is more of a business than a place of worship.

The first time I went to The Rock Church I was not sure of the lights not sure of the music because I had never been to a church like that. My husband and I were welcomed with open arms by people that were honestly interested in who we were and how God is moving in our life, it didn't matter where we came from, what struggles we were having, none of that mattered, we were accepted as we were. Instead of sitting back expecting a written invitation to events we took it upon ourselves to GET INVOLVED! The rock church may be a larger church, it may have the lights, the music, I will tell you this, people are committing their life to Christ at The Rock Church, people are getting connected, changing their lives, making lifelong friends, serving their community, serving God! Coming from someone who thought they would NEVER attend a church, I would totally recommend The Rock Church!

Not a church if you are into meaningful friendships, in my opinion. Way too big, way too fast. And, I'm wary of any church that grows it's own pastors. The current pastor is the son of the founding pastor who died in an airline crash...He just assumed the pulpit without a break in services.
I prefer a church where the staff answers phones, emails & requests for assistance (time, not things)

A terrific music program, although not many of the older hymns, would be a great church for young people.
