Super fun place to hang out anytime of day. Great lunches. Patio seating has a view of Lake Union. Try the Mediterranean plate!

This place defines trashy. The service is terrible. The food is mediocre and overpriced. The atmosphere reminds me of a bunch of people over 30 who still wish they lived in a frathouse. My recommendation: Do not go to this restaurant.

The food's never bad, just never really good. Drinks are dandy (say hi to Bruce the bartender) but don't go for chi-chi cocktails.

Go here fairly frequently with friends for happy hour and soak in the sun (even on these freezing cold days). I love the calamari and the bloody mary's - and could use one, right now!

Pros: Happy hour value, view of the lake

Cons: none

Our family went there for mothers day. Loved the view. they were under staffed and the kitchen was backed up the mothers day buffet was out of food. The food was not all that great. My mo has been back and they "redeemed "themselves. they need to be better prepared for holidays where everyone goes out for brunch. I will go back my mothers second experience was a great one.

I go here about twice a month for happy hour. Drinks are cheap and really stiff! The food during happy hour is all under $7, pretty good, and easy to fill up on. It's not especially delicious, on par with Red Robin.

Here comes the horror story. One day I came for happy hour, was seated upstairs in a small room right next to a table of 7 or 8 very drunk people. The waiter gave us absolutely terrible service. Cold Food. Meat on the entree and I AM VEGETARIAN! I asked that the pasta be remade without the meat, so he took it downstairs, picked the meat out, stirred it, and brought it back up. Meat was still easily tasted in the end product. At this point he decided to begin being annoying and asking us if we were doing okay every 2 minutes. At some point he decided he was giving us too much attention, so he started to ignore us completely.

We sat there in the tiny, loud room with a table full of drunks, while the waiter looked on. At one point this table of apes actually heckled us. For ten or twenty minutes our table was empty and dry, and I was forced to find the waiter to ask for the check.

The check was wrong, I was double charged for my flunked entree, and the waiter got a $0 tip!

Cons: Occasional flukes

We went there last night for the first time. We were just driving by and were hungry so we stopped.

It's basically winter now so the weather is not the best, but in the summer time they have two big decks for outdoor seating that overlook Lake Union.

The food was good. They have specials almost every day that are a great deal.

I will go back here for sure...especially in the summer time to use that deck!

Great view

They charge you for it - expensive food for what you get. I guess it's a good happy hour, though...

The deck - not to be missed in spring / summer

We come here all the time for their tasty, cheap happy hour, with well done bar food and stiff drinks.. However never ever ever go there for breakfast! It looses a star just for the memory of the offensively horrible omelets we had. Sit to the happy hour, lunch, and dinner, and you'll be happy.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous brunch at the Eastlake Grill on Saturday. Every bite was very good, the selection quite extensive, and included Cafe Vita coffee in the $10.95 price. We could have chosen to make burritos with all the extras, but settled for just the fillings. Potatoes, pancakes, French toast, two different scrambled eggs, sausages/bacon, refried beans, muffins, cream puffs, cheesecake tarts, etc, etc, etc. Delicious!! We also got a window seat overlooking Lake Union on a sunny day - heavenly!!

Eat lunch here every few months with my co-workers. They changed the menu and got rid of my favorite Greek Wrap but the new menu has plenty to offer. I love the Tiger Prawn & Andouille Sausage Penne. My co-worker didn't care for the reuben, thought the corned beef was dry. Another really enjoyed the Santa Fe Grilled Cheese but was still hungry after. We like this place b/c plenty of seating, enough choices for everyone (even our vegetarian friends) and killer patio. We use our Passport Unlimited cards which is buy one, get one free up to two entrees. No waitress has made a fuss about seperate checks (which we don't do for more then six people).

Parking can be a pain but the walk does us good!

I usually go here between 10-12 pm, when it's too late for many other restaurants to be open but I want something classier and more relaxed than a burger joint or bar. We sit in the dining room and order the blackened salmon Caesar salad and fries, or buffalo wings and clam chowder. Delicious and not fishy-tasting, this is all I need to top off a night. You are requested to order a drink with your meal (it is happy hour) but if you don't drink alcohol, juice will do as well. Highly recommended.

If it's a nice, sunny day in Seattle this is a great place to go eat. Food is average and nothing to go out of your way for. However, the sunset dinner is a great deal and can make the trip worth it. Service is always friendly and it's a great neighborhood place.

In early May a friend and I decided to stop in for breakfast, having looked up the menu online. We especially wanted biscuits and gravy. When we reached the restaurant, we noticed there was a menu posted outside. Yup, it was the same diverse, plentiful menu we found online. SCORE! Get inside, get seated and are presented with an extremely limited breakfast menu - maybe 12 items? No biscuits and gravy. How hard, HOW HARD is it to update a website? Staple a new menu to the outside box?

Food was lack luster. Blueberry pancakes were mushy in the middle. Ham & cheese omelet was generic, with extremely large ham chunks. General attentiveness to quality was poor. Service was ok, a bit slow given there were so few tables in the restaurant.

Nice view of the lake and I am sure the tiki bar out back is awesome in the summer.

All in all, I can't deal with the menu issue. It has tainted my perspective of the place.

Aside from the deck, which is probably the main draw (and because of which you will pay $2-3 extra per entree over comparable food), this is a solid neighborhood standby with no great highs or lows. Food is competent but not stellar, service is friendly but a bit slow.

My wife and I would not go out of our way to come here, but since we live a few blocks away, it's a handy fallback.

Get here early as they only have 8 menues, according to the, so called, manager. If you like cheese sticks, you have to try to COLD, string cheese appetizers. It is recommened to wait at the entrance for 20 minutes and hope that someone will seat you. Please make sure you know who your waiter is, as they will not know which table they are responsible for serving. If you are looking for the worst service in Seattle and food that tastes like it came from a microwave oven, this place is for you. Coming from a degree in "Hotel, Restaurant Management" I was shocked to find out that the server for our table, was actually the Manger of the Restaurant and that there are actually restaurants open in Seattle that have Zero concern for the customers that they serve. I would highly recommend to "stay away"

I love the fun, neighborhood feel of the bar. The food is excellent and the views are outstanding. Bar staff is great, and the wait staff, like most places, is average.

I was only there for happy hour, but the food was excellent. The Ceaser salad was better than most I've had in this city. The lettuce was fresh and crisp and had the perfect amount of dressing. The salmon burger was delicious. And all of this was for an amazing price. I look forward to many happy hours here and to also sampling off the main menu.

The most recent incarnation of this prime Eastlake location, but with new owners. I had the fresh grilled salmon and was very pleased. This place is poised to become a favorite of ours!

This is one of the most underrated outdoor restaurants in Seattle. They have an awesome deck with a beautiful view of Lake Union! The drinks are good (I liked the Bamboozle) and we ordered the sauted prawns, steak bites, and small caesars for dinner. Very yummy! The waitstaff was very friendly and we were able to get a seat immediately on a warm summer night.
