Lottie Motts Coffee Shop

This place is a cute little hole in the wall that serves good coffee, has some nice appetizers, and also serves drinks. I miss having them on the Beat Walk route, which is a music night once a month. They always had some of the best bands.

This fabulous little coffee shop is located in my favorite Seattle neighborhood, Columbia City. Though I cannot speak to its newest reincarnation (it recently re-opened as a coffee shop / cocktail lounge), I loved the original. Small, intimate, and very community-oriented, I felt free to sip my coffee leisurely and enjoy the art by local artists on the walls.
