!!!!BUYERS BEWARE!!!!
Purchased bedroom suite 1/30/11 and paid-in-full with cash...AND NEVER RECEIVED!! I was told at time of purchase it would be 2-3 weeks before delivery and that they would call. They NEVER called.. not even to tell me what was going on.. why I hadn't received the furniture that I had already paid for in full.. or when I could expect it to be delivered. I have contacted their corporate office today 4/4/11, to voice my complaints and request a full refund. Dan at their corporate office was as about as concerned or helpful as the illiterate store manager, "Coach", who didnt even apologize for their lack of customer service and professionalism. This is no way to run a business. THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER DELIVERED A PRODUCT... THATS THE SAME AS STEALING!

While out shopping with my children, we made a quick pit stop into the Tukwila store to look for a sofa-sleeper. I was pleased that I wasn't pounced upon once we entered the store. I asked an available sale assistant, Kevin, if he could just point me in the direction of what I was looking for. He showed me the great deals (no sales tax during the President's Day Sale) and the array of colors I could pick from. I found the choices all good options, but I would have to speak with my husband first and I'd call. I located the website and found the sofa-sleeper I saw in the store. Not too sure how the process would work to give credit to the sales assistant, I called the store. Kevin directed me to place the order online, and when it appeared on the report he would take my credit card information to process the order. I was pleasingly surprised to get emails to keep me in the loop as my order was processing through to delivery. I was called to inform me of the delivery window. It only took two weeks to get my sofa-sleeper! Needless to say, I was very pleased with the price, service and really nice delivery guys that put my sofa-sleeper exactly where I wanted it without a scratch anywhere! I'm impressed with Furniture Factory Direct and will shop there again in the future.

I went to the Tukwila store to look for a couch and found they had a very good selection and the sales people didnt "hover" nearly as much as other places. I ended up buying a couch on thier website a few days later for an excellent price (same couch at two other stores were $100-200 more). Took two weeks to make/get couch in warehouse, but everyone else stated same terms so no big deal. I was very impressed with the packing job when i picked it up at the warehouse. It was wraped in a soft cloth, cardboard on all edges then shrink wrapped, I could have driven home in a blizzard and it would have been fine.

The couch is exactly what I was looking for and is very comfortable. This was my first time buying a new couch and will definitely continue to shop at Furniture Direct.

The worst customer service EVER!!!! At first they were really nice and purchased my living room set from Ken (sales person). He told me that they would contact me when my furniture arrived which they failed to do. I called them on Tuesday just to check on the status of my order and another sales rep said that my furniture has been there since Saturday. So they lied about contacting me when in got in. They delivered my living room set without my ottoman which i paid for and then told me that i would be charged another $89 for delivery of the ottoman that they forgot to send. I had to drive there and get it myself. The crew that came to deliver my living room set was very nice. The Manager ELI is very disrespectful and rude!!! He doesn't even know how to talk to people. Instead of admitting that it was their fault he basically blamed me! not very professional!!!

I recommended them to a friend of mine and she also got some furniture from them and she said manager ELI was rude too!! Bottom line is i would NEVER recommend them ever again!!

When I visited the store the salesman was attentive and listened to what I wanted and didn't steer me away to buy a more expensive sofa. I received great customer service and received my sofa sleeper on time in good condition. This experience made me want to refer others and come back. I now want the matching chair and ottoman.

Wow, I'm reading some of these other reviews in amazement! I shopped and compared and these guys had the best prices for what i bought. I've bought from them three different times, they always delivered promptly. The drivers were wonderfully courteous and helpful. They have been great to deal with and very easy to work with. They even held one piece for me for two weeks when i was moving so I could have it delivered to my new house!

I recommend them to everyone. This one bedroom set is still being advertised every where for over $3800 and I paid less than $2000 for it including the delivery fee. It is a gorgeous set too.

I'll shop there again when I need furniture!

i baught a whole house of furniture from factory direct and after 10 weeks (when i was told 2-4 weeks to get my cash) i decided to look elsewhere and whent to the ne washley store. they where verry helpful and deliverd all my furniture 10 day later, i tryed to cancel my order that i had at furniture factory cause of the lies and the waite and they charged me a huge restocking fee. i was shocked and can say ill never step foot in that store again. dont shop there, no returns, long wait times, poor service.

The prices are comparable to some other stores and the initial delevery was as expected. Also, after we had the sofa for almost a year, they did agree to repair it (have the factory repairit) due to the cushion sagging. The repair job was poor, so, they did agree to replace. After a few weeks they delivered a new sofa, but, it had damage, so, they didn't even bring it into the house. I didn't receive any follow up call, so, I called and the person said they would check and call back. After 2 days, and no call back, I had to call again and asked to speak with the manager and she said she'll check and call tomorrow. We'll see.......

They were extremely helpful. They kept their word in contacting us when they said they would. They got the furniture a bit before expected which was great. They arrived before the window time for delivery which made us happy. The furniture is awesome, the delivery guys were super nice. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Based on my observation Factory Furniture Direct is a poorly managed store. The customer service is terrible, you can't get a manager to return your call. If you try to order furniture that they only have in stock at another store you can forget ever getting your furniture as the sales rep will not fallow through with the purchase. Its a wonder that this store has not gone under.

My wife and I went to buy a sectional couch in January and it turned into a nightmare. 3 months of waiting only to receive ripped furniture and poor customer service throughout the experience. The original experience was good and the salesperson suggested that the furniture would arrive in early February which was one of our requirements for the purchase.

As we neared the expected date, we did not receive a single phone call and we finally had to call them to see what was going on. I work in the retail business as well and I was really surprised to see how lazy these guys seemed in following up with their sold on order customers. They mentioned that the couch we picked was so popular that they were on back order and we would not be able to receive the furniture until mid March. However, they said they have over 30 of them on order so it shouldn't be a problem. After working with 2 different sales people (Corey and Tyson), the manager (Adu?) finally assisted us and said she would keep us posted. We had to call several times just to find out the status and this should of been the first warning sign.

When the next expected date arrived, again we had to call to see what was going on and finally the manager once again had to step in to give us the latest update which was now late March. So we waited again... Until finally we called toward around the 20th of March to find out if it was going to arrive on time. SURPRISE... the shipment is delayed again.. in China... We had no clue our original order was coming from there.

We were invited to come on down and select something else, cancel or wait it out. So we went back down and asked for our salesperson through an associate who greeted us at the door. Instead of grabbing our sales person (Corey) he went and made phone calls and we had to walk around the store to track him down. We finally decided to order another sectional from Ashley that could arrive faster. However during this visit, my wife found our salesperson Corey to be really opinionated and somewhat argued with my wife on what he thought worked best. My wife was ready to just cancel all together and I probably should of listened to her at this point but now we were in need of furniture quickly since we got rid of our old stuff. So, the new delivery date was mid April.

Finally, we got a call that the furniture arrived! However, after waiting for so long you would figure that they would priority the delivery after nearly 3 months of waiting... Not in our case and we bought the service protection plan! WOW Instead, we had to wait an additional week for delivery which they did decide to provide for free which was a plus in the right direction.

So here we are thinking we can move on and tonight we will finally have something to sit on! BUT, when the items were delievered, there is one major problem.. the new furniture is ripped and the delivery guy is clueless how it happened. I called the manager to try and get this resolved after we sent it back and she mentioned that the furniture should of been fine before it was sent out since they try to inspect it a couple days ahead of time and it must of happen during delivery. She said another manager will have to call me tomorrow and they will either repair it or order us another which means we will wait again... I was really shocked to hear that they would even consider repairing a couch that is suppose to brand new as an option for us at this point. If they end up shipping us a new one... again, we most likely have to wait another 2-3 weeks.

So our original order midway through January has finally arrived broken and I would NEVER recommend this place again. If you buy anything from these guys despite their tempting prices, make sure you only buy in-stock so you don't have to go through the same drama.

You get exactly what you pay for at this place and it is a real shame that they do not work harder to take of their customers.

We just made our second purchase here. We bought our couch there five years ago (and it is still holding up nicely), and after shopping around for a full size mattress set for my daughter, we ended up here. We had an easy time, though shopping in a store that is so blatantly commission feels like shopping for a couch in a car lot.
The delivery crew is what's saving this review from being "meh". They delivered the mattress set to our third floor condo, and once they found out that it was for my four year old daughter's "big girl" bed, they made her part of the whole thing! They called her into the bedroom so she can make sure they put it together right, asked her lay on it to make sure it was comfy, and didn't bat an eye when she solemnly handed them a crayon when they asked for a pen to finish the delivery ticket.
Based on the awesome delivery crew alone, I will shop here again.

Great place, we furnished the entire house for $18,000. Furniture is good quality, most of it was in stock, we picked the rest in 3 weeks. They have a warehouse on corner of 196th and West Valley in Kent and it is huge (maybe a city block),
Some of the reviews below looks like are written by unhappy competitors, especially the ones that tell you where you should shop.
Year and a half ago we purchase a leather sofa from Macy's and it took them 10 weeks from order to delivey.

I dont know what you people are talking about .i bought my furniture there and it couldnt have been better, the customer service was amaing, along with the sales floor people. Just because you guys are hella picky and have no patience doesnt mean you have to go off on them... Mmmmkay!!!

Folks I have to agree with most people people here on the forum. Dont buy from this company. They have bad support staff and if something goes wrong you are left in the dark. This company forgot about customer service. We currently have an issue that still isnt resolved and the only means to getting it resolved at this point is with court. I noticed this company has several BBB complaints.

Do not shop here! Horrible customer service. Although their prices are low, you will pay one way or another. They scheduled a delivery for me on a Sunday. I planned my weekend around it and made arrangements within my home to accommodate the new furniture. Sunday goes by and no delivery. I call the warehouse and they tell me the salesperson (Cory) went into the system the previous Wednesday and cancelled the delivery and scheduled a new one at a later date because not all of the items were in stock yet. Problem is, HE NEVER CALLED TO TELL ME! I called and spoke to the Asst. Manager (Udon) and she confirmed that Cory had done exactly what the warehouse told me and promised to investigate why he did this. At this point I requested to have my delivery fee refunded for the trouble. She agreed that if he was at fault he would have to surrender his commission on the sale. Days go by and she never calls me back. I finally call her and she gives me a song and dance saying the delivery wasn't confirmed. Funny, you and your warehouse worker both read verbatim out of your system that it was confirmed. Mind you while speaking to her she interrupts and talks over me several times. I request to speak with the General Store Manager (GSM) and she reluctantly gives me his first name. I tell her to ask him to call me. She agrees to email him my request. A week later after realizing I won't be getting a call back I call her again. I ask why the GSM never called me (she again talks over me) and says she spoke to him about the issue and didn't deem it necessary that I speak with him. I insisted and she tells me he's on vacation for the next week! Arrrgh! He finally calls me a week later. I explain the situation and he says he'll look into the matter. He calls me back again and gives me the same line about it not being a confirmed delivery date. "Why then did your salesman go into the system and change it?" No valid response except to say he will not refund the delivery fee. Customer satisfaction is of no importance to this business once they have your money. If I could have returned the furniture, I would have.

A week later after realizing I won't be getting a call back I call her again. I ask why the GSM never called me (she again talks over me) and says she spoke to him about the issue and didn't deem it necessary that I speak with him. I insisted and she tells me he's on vacation for the next week! Arrrgh! He finally calls me a week later. I explain the situation and he says he'll look into the matter. He calls me back again and gives me the same line about it not being a confirmed delivery date. "Why then did your salesman go into the system and change it?" No valid response except to say he will not refund the delivery fee. Customer satisfaction is of no importance to this business once they have your money. If I could have returned the furniture, I would have.

Service is great but the only problem I had was that most of the furniture that I liked had to be delivered in 3-4 weeks. I really wanted my furniture sooner. wish they had more furniture on hand.

I had a leather natuzzi sofa set from Macy's for over 10 years. This furniture lasted the whole 10 years with no problems. I bought a new house and decided to buy leather furniture from furniture factory direct. Well, within the first 6 months the whole frame on the sofa broke- very poor quality. They fixed it...yeah fixed it- did not give me a new one! And around a year later the love seat frame broke! I don't have kids and there wasn't any rough housing on the sofas to cause the frame to break. They are just poor quality. I also bought a somewhat large chaise and the leather had scratches on it...I picked it up from the store and when I wanted to return it because of the scratches they said "bring it in". They wouldnt even pick it up. Anyways, I suggest everyone stick to more reputable stores like Macy's.

Ya know, this place really is pretty good if you ask me. It's common knowledge that you get what you pay for. They do have great prices. I purchased a cherry counter height dining room table set with 6 chairs for $400! It was a steal. I thought the employees were pretty quick with the transaction, and for the most part left me alone until I wanted to be helped. I've read other reviews where they had problems with the length of the wait for their furniture...PICK IT UP! (If it's in stock of course) Mine just so happened to be in stock, and I picked up the same day of purchase and had it put together that night. I'd go there again!

The sales person was great! However, once they got my money, everything went downhill from there. My furniture is damaged and at first they told me it would be 3-5 days to replace it. Now it has been over 50 days and several phone calls later and I still don't have my furniture replaced. I was very nice about the entire situation until about day 45, now I am furious! The receptionist Michelle at the Tukwila office refused to tell me the last name of the store manager until I told her I needed it for my attorney. Then she told me his name is Pat Ludgate. That may be a lie too since they seem to lie about everything else. At any rate, I will have my day in court - even if it's just small claims court. As it turns out, the quality of the furniture is crap anyway.

I recently purchased a recliner sofa, a bed and a dresser. The sales staff was professional and upfront about my delivery waiting time. He checked his computer and the let me know that I would have to wait 2 - 4 weeks for the sofa. The sofa arrived on the 3rd week. When they delivered the sofa they set it up for me and took away all the cardboard and wrapping material. The bed was in stock and was delivered 2 days later. The delivery guys put the bed together in less than 10 minutes, took all the boxes. The quality of the furniture is great and better prices than I have seen. I strongly recommend this company and will buy from them again.

Everything in this store you have to order - you can't buy and take anything home with you. And, although the sales people are relatively nice, they follow you around and it made for some uncomfortable moments.

We went at furniture factory direct ,they carry ashley furniture ,no doubts prices were good but it took 7 weeks to get our order and beleive me when the dining table arrived it was all broken and they told us they will replace it so we have to wait another 4-6 weeks ..we had the worst customer service isssue .
we tried to get our money back and they refused to do so anyways we went to another ASHLEY dealer nearby at JR FURNITURE
they guy told us that he can give us in 10 days no doubt jr price was $ 97 more than what we paid at furniture factory direct but on the 9th day our sales person named MAC at JR called us that your furniture is ready for delievery , we got next day delievry and everything was perfect ,,,good job MAC
so if u want to buy anything fro furniture factorey direct check out at JR ALSO and ask for their sales manager MAC

I bought a bed frame/head board set from Furniture Factory Direct, which then proceeded to break after 2 months. Admittedly, they were nice enough to come look at the bed frame, and offer a replacement. They said it would be 2 weeks to get the replacement, but now it has been over 2 months and still not here. After waiting 3 months in the first place for the bed set and now another 2 months for the head board replacement, it is certainly not worth it to buy from this company.

We just had our furniture delivered, excellent service good quality and we saved a bunch. The bedroom set was in stock but we had to wait 3 weeks for the sofa and loveseat.
