Specialty's Cafe & Bakery

While I worked in the ID last year, I didn't get to explore all the great Asian food, because Specialty's just kept calling my name. For something like $6 I could get the most delicious turkey sandwich on NON-WIMPY bread, in under 5 minutes during peak lunch hour. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for anything there, and the staff was always cheerful.

Whenever i get the chance I stop in here to pick up their wonderful freshly baked bread. It is the most delicious bread that i have tasted in the Seattle area. I am also quite fond of their muffins and have purchased these for my gramps to take to his monthly men's club meetings at our church. The staff is very helpful and the bakery has a friendly atmosphere. Service is efficient and all my orders have been accurate. If you have never stopped in to Specialty's I would suggest that you go soon.

The brownies here are to die for, the cookies are these thick beasty kind of wonderful lump of stuff, and the triple chocolate bundt cake is to die for! Sandwiches are amazing, fresh ingredients, freshly baked bread

I eat at Specialties bakery at least twice a week. It's very good. The cookies are the best I've ever had, and the salads and soups are just as fulfilling as the sandwiches. They seem to run a top notch cafe and can handle large amounts of people coming in for lunch with minimum wait times.

Specialties is around the corner from where I work, and when I walk by, I smell their baked goods and my mouth waters! I crave their pastries and cookies! Their sandwiches are to die for, especially the one with peanut butter! They only take cash and are not open on the weekends, but these are minor hiccups when it comes to their great-tasting food!

This bakery makes the most delicious bread you will ever taste. It opens early, serving fresh coffee, muffins, scones, and bagel sandwiches. At noon, the lunch rush hits and the sandwiches and soups sell by the ton. You have got to try the tomato, mozzarella, and basil sandwich - you will love it.
