Stadium Thriftway is great for stopping in when you need to pick up a few things. The food is great, the deli is awesome. And the people there are very friendly and recognize regular customers. CONS: they are a little more pricey than your average grocery store.

I am usually not a Thriftway shopper. They are a little pricey. But if you have not been in the Thriftway store near Stadium high school....it is a fun store to go look thru. It is a very old store but has so many items in it. It has a great deli department. They have a great selection of many groceries and it is very good. Be sure to go in some time.

I live in Gig Harbor and think Stadium Thriftway is one of the best markets in this area. It's definitely worth the drive. As you enter the store, you are greeted with an awsome display of cut and live flowers. Moving along, you come to a well stocked and nicely displayed produce section. Nearby is the deli which features a great selection of meats and cheeses. You don't need to visit the liquor store, because Thriftway's wine section is outstanding.

This grocery store almost makes you feel like you're in a foreign country. They sell lots of imported items. It's cozy and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Prices are fair.

Stadium is definitely a "destination location." Check it out; you won't be disappointed.

PROS: Great staff and dozens of tasty offerings.
CONS: Narrow isles. Not especially friendly to those confined to wheelchairs.

The folks at Stadium Thriftway are awesome. The friendly service makes going there worth paying a little extra for groceries. I like seeing the same people everytime I go in, and I think they enjoy seeing the same customers too! I guess it's just because it's a smaller place, but I end up paying more than I would at a larger store. Even still, go here!

They have an awesome wine selection and the best homemade soups and deli sandwiches this side of Division Ave. They also have a card and flower section that is great when you're in need in a hurry...

A personal favorite part about Stadium Thriftway is that they employ a security guard at night. It's nice to know he'll be watching as you make your way to your car. Actually, when I lived pretty close by and walked down at night, he would follow me at a distance around the back of the store and watch until I got out of sight to make sure I was okay. Now that is good service!

PROS: Service, service, service. And the wine!
CONS: higher cost
