Questionable history with the Snohomish Food Health District, horrible customer service, and filthy theaters...Needless to say I m not going back. They have a good concept, but ruin it with their horrible customer service. I wanted to see a movie here, but when I heard how loud it was getting, saw a couple people who appeared to be intoxicated, and heard a waitresses telling people they could order throughout the movie(Which meant they would have been walking in front of me and talking throughout the entire movie), I thought it'd be best if I just got my money and left.

I requested a refund 30 minutes BEFORE the movie began, I was informed that there s a no refund policy by one of their employees named Sam who stated she was a manager. I spoke to another manager and was informed that refunds were given on a case by case basis, whatever that means. I pressed to get specifics from yet another manager by the name of Alicia who claimed she was the Assistant General Manager as to what their policy is and couldn't get any specifics.

So if they don t like your hair? Your Skin color? Your clothes? The way you look? They can withhold your refund? What's their policy? It makes absolutely no sense when employees can refuse refunds based on their personal whim, and since I can t get any specific answers from them as to what their policy is, what am I to assume? I requested the refund about 30 minutes BEFORE the movie began, this movie was basically sold out 30 minutes before the movie so I have no doubt they would have sold my refunded ticket. This is nothing more than a scam to make sure they don t have to be accountable for loud drunk people in their un-kept theaters and to make sure they keep peoples money who don t want to watch a movie with loud drunk people.

Cinebarre replaced the Mountlake 9 awhile ago, but some people still don't seem to be in the know. This is a certainly a step above your normal every day movie theater. Its a 21 and over establishment with a bar in the lobby. Movie goers can enjoy real food like pizza, burgers, even fried pickle chips while enjoying their movie, but don't worry there is popcorn with real butter for movie traditionalists. Patrons can also enjoy alcoholic beverages throughout the movie which makes this more of an exciting night out, than another boring night at the show. They even have their own special Cinebrew beer, but regular beers are available as well either by the pitcher or the glass. Waiters come along through the movie and pick up your filled out slips and return with your requested items and conveniently drop off your tab prior to the ending credits. Definetely worth checking out.

I have visited the Mountlake 9 Cinema on numerous occastions. The theatre is kept clean and the lines move quickly. There is a major lack of parking spots on the weekends.

Some people may say money can buy happiness, but it can't. But it can buy is movies which are fun to watch. And you know where to buy them, mountlake 9'ner. Watch them with a lovely ambience that is exceptional. Drive a small car because parking is is small supply. Live on the edge by being a tenacious movie viewer, and never go anywhere else but Mountlake 9'ner. Thank you!

Pros: Ambience, Fat tabulous, Lasting Memoirs

Cons: last place, to, park

Mountlake 9 has a lot of good movies...they have great selection of different kinds. But a big downer is that u have to arrive REALLY early to go see a movie because they have VERY VERY VERY limited parking spots. I've driven over there and had to leave a good amount of times because there is no parking, and security is nearby making sure people don't park in other store's parking lots next to Mountlake 9. The seats could be a lot more comfortable. Also, they don't have stadium seating, so when there's someone tall in front of you, you can't see. Whenever I've gone, it looks messy too...i.e., popcorn messes all over the floor, etc. Besides that, there's good employees, and good movie selection.

One of the better theaters in the Seattle area, the Mountlake 9 an upbeat ambience, a huge concession area, the best and newest movies, and a large variety of types of movies. At one time, the theater has had childrens movies, drama, comedy, action, and "chick flicks." One I go to very often. The only complaints I have is that the seats are so-so in comfort, and the cupholders are a bit strange for some screens.

This has been my theater of choice since the day it opened in the mid 90's. It's in a great central location and the movie crowd is always good. The movie selection and sound are great. The seats could be improved, they are only good for about one hour of sitting. Watch a major premier here--be prepared for crowds, but isn't that a sign of a good theater? This theater is good for young and old alike. See you at the movies.
