I took my 3 yo up for hist first ski lesson. I know this may seem young, but the kid can ride my 7 yo's razor, and is quite athletic. His 1.5 hour lesson was not much more than glorified baby sitting, but to top it off, he was not allowed to use the magic carpet area after his lesson since he was not "in class". After paying $200 for lessons for my boys, this seemed ridiculous that my toddler would not be allowed to use his all day lift ticket in an area that he can ski in. I strongly suggest Snoqualmie Summit which has a free carpet for younger kids.

Pros: Great for experienced skiers

Cons: Poor resort for beginners

We had a great time. We had 20+ people in our group and stayed at Dirty Face Lodge by Lake Wenatchee. Skiing was great and the lodge had xcountry skiing right outside its door as well as snowmobiling, etc. We just had a blast, conditions could not have been better and the price was right.

This is my favorite place to snowboard around here. Great service, friendly staff, organized unlike Crystal Mountain. Also offers a good deal on seasons passes. Offers a great facility and a terrain park for snowboarders. I am purchasing a seasons pass to Stevens because it is the best place around.
